  • This is exactly what I've experienced this time around! Starting supplementing 1 bottle a day at 10.5 months because freezer stash was gone. Four weeks or so later, I'm pumping 3 times a day just to give her one bottle. I'm about over it. I've started to cut out the pumps at work and just feed her morning and night.…
  • I'm interested too if you have room for one more!
  • I have one that keeps getting plugged, so I feel your pain (literally)! Everyone's advice is spot on. I usually take a hot shower, nurse right after, and massage while nursing. Hope it resolves quickly for you!
  • This morning I did squat thrusts! I never thought I would be able to do any. I have tried many times and I just could not get my legs to go back once my hands hit the floor. I managed to get 4 in the first time I did them and 6 the second time. It feels so awesome to have accomplished this! Next time I'm aiming for 8 :)
  • I am not vegetarian but trying to get my family to go meatless a couple nights a week. I really think some of these dishes could convince my very picky husband! Please post recipes soon!
  • Didn't meet my water goal and, for the second day in a row, I chose sleep over exercise this morning. I still only got six hours of sleep though, and that was interrupted once to feed the baby. Maybe going to bed too late last night is my regret!
  • I did my first TF workout this week, HIIT 20. I was so sore the next day just from 20 minutes! Can't wait to try some of the others!
  • My face gets so red but my neck is still deathly pale so I look like an apple on a stick. My sister finds it hilarious but if she would work out she'd probably look just like me. She's a red head.
  • Donating blood is good for you but not because it burns calories. It gets rid of any excess iron in the blood which can cause heart problems. You do lose about a pound when you donate but it is very temporary. You gain it back when your body replenishes the lost blood, which starts immediately after donation.
  • I am currently nursing my 3 month old and had the same questions. I suggest this video on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDhu8OASy-0 It's only four minutes and Jillian has some great advice about breastfeeding and weight loss.
  • Yea! I got to be number 280
  • IMO, absolutely not. This was a huge diet trend at my workplace a couple years ago. We all had incredible losses while on the program but within a year of completing it all but one out of 12 of us gained back most or all of the weight.
  • This thread makes me sad. The nearest TJs is almost three hours away so I don't get to go very often.
  • I hear you on the getting up earlier than the kids! I have a 4 year old and a 3 month old and just about every time I think "I've got time to work out" one or the other gets up early that day! So, I've been getting up between 5:30 and 6 a.m to make sure I get my workout in - ugh! Anyway, welcome to the group and good luck…
  • Me too. I did three rounds of the stuff and was down 60 pounds. Guess how much I gained with my pregnancy, eating normally not binging - yup, 60 pounds! My cousin has had great results and maintained it for 2 years, now eating a pretty healthy diet, but I think she is the exception.
  • Are you exercising too? If you are make sure you eat back most of your exercise calories (if not all of them). And if you are hungry, eat! I can't see your diary so I don't know what exactly you are eating but make sure you are getting lots of protein. Also, some women tend to hold on to the extra weight until after they…
  • Great progress! Keep it up!!
  • I'm so glad you posted this! I always go over on protein and sugar. I wasn't worried about the protein but the sugar kind of concerned me. 80 - 90% of my sugar intake is from fruit though so I won't worry about it anymore!
  • When I was in college there were free classes at the gym all the time. I did step aerobics, kickboxing, a Latin dance class. They were fun and I got my friends to go too which made it even more fun! College can definitely be hard, the temptations are everywhere. But you can make smart choices even there! Go get 'em, girl!!
  • All of your post is inspirational but especially this for me. I have just recently started exercising on a regular basis. For the first time ever. It's not always easy and I don't always (okay, almost never) want to but you are so right - it's got to be part of my "maintenance" routine!! Thank you for sharing your…
  • i have just recently (within the last year or so) found the avocado love! I agree with others, they are good in moderation. I have a question though - how do you keep yours from turning brown on you? I only eat a quarter to a half of one at a time so what should I do with the rest of it?
  • Thank you! That is really helpful! (And I like the last part, lol) I have been trying to figure al of this out too. I have an 11 week old and I'm terrified of hurting my milk supply by not eating enough or losing too fast. I have been trying to eat around 1800 calories a day plus eat back most of my exercise calories but,…
  • I actually don't go back until next Monday. She will just have turned 12 weeks and that is the maximum amount of time we are allowed. We definitely do not get enough time off here in the US. It is so hard to leave when they are still so little. And I feel like we are just finally starting to get into some sort of routine!
  • 1) Dole packaged salads - Sweet baby lettuces 2) Old Fashioned Oats 3) Bananas
  • In the process of making the switch to clean eating. My family is resisting a little (sometimes a lot) but my plan is to get them to eat clean at least 75% of the time.
  • I think I'm going to print this and hang it on my fridge. Thanks yoovie!
