Hi! Yes I have started weight training under the guidance of a trainer. Hopefully that will help some. To answer your qn on eating back calories, as 1600 is based on my TDEE (which already takes my activity level into consideration I do not log my exercise calories anymore. I just make sure I hit around 1600 everyday.

If you're craving something sweet, have some fruits instead. Identify what you're really craving for - its just for something sweet and need not be coconut macarons. :)

I felt that occasionally. For a while I'll just feel like giving up and not have to crack my head over what I can eat. But I guess my new lifestyle was already starting to be ingrained. :) Hang in there. It will become almost like second nature.

Not an expert. But from my experience doing a combination of exercises does help. I usually alternate between cardio, yoga and strength based. My tummy has gone down some, though not completely. I just signed up for personal training, hope a trainer can guide me in lifting :)
