I have arthritis in my knees so I am unable to go A2G when squatting heavy, I tend to go just below parallel. I used to feel bad about it until I saw DLB in training video explain why she doesn't do A2G. I forget when she said, but I'd say, she's doing ok without going all the way down.

For me it was, but when I was younger I was a runner and triathlete and had a super high metabolism. I had an accident were I couldn't train for about 8 weeks and still lost weight without trying. So you can imagine how frustrating it was for me to lose barely one pound a week in my 40s. Though frustrating, I didn't let it…

There used to be this podcast called Fat2Fit Radio and their motto was, "Eat like the thin person you want to be", they basically advocated for figuring out your goal weight (they had a calculator on their website) and it would give the daily calories you should eat based on your activity level. I hated when they stopped…

I always assume whatever I eat at a restaurant is going to be at least twice the calories of what I normally eat in a meal. I plan for it, enjoy my meal and move on.

Check out FitnessBlender.com, they are also on YouTube, they have a variety of workouts from cardio, hiit, strength training and body weight and they are free. But as AllanMisner said, fat loss comes from nutrition.

Sorry, you misunderstood, what I meant was Workout A on Tues or Wed and Workout B on Sun. You really shouldn't work the same body part back to back. If you really want to do this program, then you will have to make it work for you or find a different program that works with your schedule.
-
You can either do legs on Tues, upper body on Wed, and alternate workouts A/B on Sundays. Or as JoRocka recommends, a 2 days split, which is what I do for my heavy lifting.

Agree with the foam roller, in fact while looking for foam rolling videos on You Tube, found one specifically for the piriformis.

I was surprised that Walmart was actually cheaper than Play it again. The website has more selection, not to mention you can have UPS deliver it to your door, instead of trying put that heavy crap in your car and carry it yourself.

^^^This. Without knowing your goals, we really can't answer this. Are you just interested in just cardio? Looking to strength train, build muscle? Though PF, $10/month and open 24/7. I recently just joined a gym after working out at home for 3 years, it's strictly strength training and strongman. A little further than PF…

I use it as a substitution for rice. Contains more protein, less carbs.

I miss getting home from work, and plopping my fat *kitten* on the couch in front of the tv. Now I get home, workout, shower and then plop my not so fat *kitten* on the couch in front of the t.v. On the other hand, don't miss my fat *kitten* so much.

1. write it down 2. do it.

Please don't assume that those of use that eat low carb don't understand CICO. I lost over 100lbs doing CICO. After a year of trying to reduce my body fat % to no avail, I decided to try Keto after much research and finally my bf % started going down. Though I'm not as restrictive when I started and I do carb cycling,…

For GNC to be so expensive, their associates aren't very knowledgeable and most don't even look like they use the products. If I already know what I want and its on sale, then I will go there, but I buy most of my products on-line.

Um, if we close our eyes, how can we workout? Jus' askin.

If you're doing strength training, just get rid of your scale, it is pretty much useless.

[/img]
OMG, this is so me. I can not get on the floor to do anything without my dog thinking it's play time.

Sorry about the loss of your daughter. There are a lot of beginner strength programs, Starting Strength, New Rules for Lifting for Women, Stronglifts 5x5. These are progressive programs. You can google them. Good luck.

When I started I was 18-20, took me about 50lbs before I could fit in the next size down, but by the time I lost another 50lbs, I was a size 8. Just keep doing what you're doing, don't fret over dress sizes, you'll get there.

OP, I'm pretty sure if you go on the Herbalife website or contact the horrible person that sold you this stuff, they should be able to help you. But the fact that you posted this on a website that frowns (in the least) on gimmicky diets, makes me think you were not looking for advice, but for customers. Good luck.

It depends on how big you are and the type of sports bra you ordered. For me, I have to wear 2 heavy duty bras cuz well, "the ladies" need extra help, but as soon as I'm done working out, they have to come off. Though I have found some of the lightweight pullover bras comfortable on days when I don't want to wear a regular…

Whatever I'm wearing when I'm lifting. I always feel sexy when I'm lifting.

When I first started, I had no problem buying fitness clothes from thrift stores. Definitely washed before wearing, definitely always wore underwear with them. Now that I am a committed fitness freak, I buy new, especially compression pants. If I come across some quality tops at the thrift store, I'll get them.
