Finished W3, D3 on Friday. Looking forward to starting W4, but worried as the 3 minute runs seemed to last forever. Great to see people completing it though, gives me great hope and motivation!

Plenty of us guys here. There was a role call thread not too long ago that had quite a few check-ins. EDIT: Found it: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/138578-am-i-seriously-the-only-guy-on-here-lol

Welcome! I started using the website first, then the app when I got my Droid. The app is super handy for entering on the go, but I still prefer entering on the website. The Facebook integration will post any comments you post to on your My Home as a status on Facebook. Also, weigh-ins get posted as well: "lost 2 pounds…

The 100-cal popcorn bags do the trick for me when I want something filling.

I usually plan what I will get in advance, and avoid restaurants that do not provide nutritional info. However, whenever I'm unable to do so and find myself in this situation, I do as others have suggested and do a best guess and overestimate.

You just need to find some way other than food to deal with your stress. Maybe a new hobby or meditation?

I like the Quaker Dipps chocolate dipped granola bars. Like a candy bar, and around 150 kcals!

Great job, buddy. An inspiration for sure!

Remember it's not all or nothing. If you mess up and eat something you shouldn't, it doesn't mean you have to start over. Just pick yourself back up and keep going. You also do not have to do it all at once. My first two months was just diet adjustment, and I only added exercise this last week.

Late to the party, but just started. Did W1D1 yesterday, and it felt great. I am using some podcast created by someone who's completed the C25K program.

Congrats! I hit my first mini-goal of 30lbs today. Started Nov 1st, gave myself until end of Feb to hit it. Looking forward to losing the next 30, and the next 30 after that--95lbs total more to lose, but now I feel confident it is totally attainable.

Mine's public. It helps me to think about foods before I eat them. "Sure, I could eat this pizza, but it certainly would not look like I am trying to lose weight." Also, I don't mind ideas and criticisms--I know they are for my benefit. Should I start getting unwelcome comments or overly-harsh critiques, I will probably…

I weight in and record every Monday morning. My weeks are pretty consistent so it seems to work well. I'll sometimes check myself toward the end of the week just to see if I'm making progress, but I pretty much disregard the number and don't obsess over it. It's my Monday weigh-in that counts.

Great video, and very inspirational. I have a similar amount of weight to lose, and your progress helps me to know it is not only possible, but worth it.

I know just how you feel. It is amazing what you can get away with if you make a few smart choices along the way. By greatly reducing my calories for breakfast and lunch, I am able to eat a pretty normal dinner with my family, and usually have calories left over for a snack later. And it just doesn't feel like a diet,…

My goal is set for 2 lbs a week, and I started early in November. However, I am finding that I'm averaging 3lbs a week loss and one week, I lost 5lbs. I set for 2lbs because I have a lot to lose (120lbs from starting weight) to be a healthy weight, and the weekly weigh-in showing pounds loss keeps me motivated. In…

I just bought two pair: one for work and one for casual/walking. Who knows if they do much muscle wise, but I do feel like I have better posture wearing them, and they are comfortable.
