I’m glad to read all of this encouragement! I lost 63lbs in 2018. I was gearing up to do a sprint triathlon in 2019 and in February I got meningitis and almost died. I recovered and was only a couple pounds heavier from having to rest. In April I found out I was pregnant with my second baby. I immediately gained weight…

@bufger Thank you! I feel like a different person. I went to a store the other day, one of my previous students was working there and he didn't recognize me and then couldn't believe how much I'd changed. It felt nice to have changed that much! Running has been my lifesaver, literally.

38 lbs. down. Still a work in progress!

Under 200...8.8 pounds to go...I can get there.

You have done an excellent job! Truly inspiring to me. Hopefully I'll be ready to run my first 5k in April (I've already signed up). Congratulations on your success!

Wow, you are really inspiring to me. I appreciate your support! Good luck on getting to your 15k.

I am going to sign up for a second one as a matter of fact. My dad is running one in May, so if I can't run the whole thing in April it will just give me that much more motivation to be able to do it in May! Thank you for the encouragement, I appreciate it.

Thanks for the encouragement. I am going to try the couch to 5k program for treadmill. I definitely think I need to invest in better shoes like some of you have mentioned. It's really inspiring to know that other people have done this. My gym owner actually told me he'd prefer me not to run it because he doesn't want me to…

Great job! I started exercising the same day and I've had similar results...it's amazing what three weeks will do! Keep up the good work.

That is wonderful! Congratulations!

Thanks for the encouragement. I like your idea about there not being a wagon. Just decisions every day. I am going to try to make the right decisions at each meal. I also have never looked at a week as 21 chances to make good choices, that is a great way to look at it and I will be using that.
