Fingers crossed!

Thank you! I'm really wondering what is hiding between my fluff, but time will certainly tell
-
Sounds like a plan!

Looks like you're doing great. Just switch to leggings and sweater dresses and you're good to go

Good job on getting those lifting numbers up. I would indeed pay attention to get adequate rest though.... Sometimes more rest has a better effect then more lifting!

I do have some major food baby issues from time to time, but haven't been able to track it to a certain food or food group. It does appear to get worse when I drink less then my usual 2 L of tea per day.

You certainly came to the right place for bulking buddies!
-
You're doing really good! I'm also surprised at myself for the length of bulk that still feels good. I'm now at 17 weeks and still going strong. Really wondering what is hiding under that fluff!

Funny how BB affect different muscles then DB, hmm?

Well done! :flowerforyou:

Week 17: week of 20 January 2014 Average intake: 2379 kcal per day. Weight per 26 January : 58.7 kg, + 0.4 kg when compared with last week. + 4.7 kg from start of bulk, average of + 0.28 kg per week. Have been sick last week, but managed to get my intake up again in the weekend with the help of lots of beer, chocolate and…

Please let us know in a couple of weeks how the ABA BAB style works for you!
-
Nope, but I'm really wondering about how it is set up

Agreed! :flowerforyou:

Jimmer is right, I did adapt API 1 to 3 workouts per week because I felt 2 workouts not to be enough. Especially because I just started my bulk then and felt that additional volume would benefit my goals. I changed the order from W1, rest, W2 to W1, rest, W1, rest, rest, W2, rest. That said, All Pro did say somewhere in…

Thanx...

Congrats on seeing progress!

Good to hear! Because your NEAT may indeed increase, you may find that your weight gain stalls or that you even lose weight a bit. If that happens a few weeks on a row you know to further up your intake

Keep us posted!

Week 16: week of 13 January 2014 Average intake: 2268 kcal per day. Weight per 18 January : 58.3 kg, - 0.2 kg when compared with last week. + 4.3 kg from start of bulk, average of + 0.27 kg per week. My weight has gone down again, so I'm going to have to up my intake. I'll be shooting at a daily intake of 2300-2400 kcal.…

I was wondering this as well....

Indeed! Kudoos!

You're welcome!

Glad to hear to you're feeling much better again. Sometimes a break, be from bulking, cutting or working out is just what's needed.

Thank you! I must admit that I have trouble to see a difference between the 2 pictures. But since I have gained over 4 kg I guess I'm doing something good... That much weight in fat would certainly have showed somewhere, wouldn't it? I'm not done yet either, going to bulk on for another 10 weeks!

Good to hear that you started Stronglifts, with that you already have half of the equition covered. As the others mentioned, eating more calorie dense food will make it easier to get the needed calories in. I also agree that protein seems rather low in your current settings. That said I must say I agree with googlebear123…

Are you serious? If you want to gain muscle there are basically 2 things to do: 1. Lift weights and 2. Eat in a surplus. We could give you advise on both of these points, but that would be rather pointless without knowing exactly what your goals, your exercise routine and intake details. So please tell us more so we can…

As far as I understand it, lifting in the hypertrophy range gives you a bigger emphasis on increasing muscle size. It is however not as black or white as the ranges imply. When lifting in the strength range you will also increase size and when lifting in the hypertrophy range you will also get stronger. It is just that the…

I'm long overdue for more recent progress pictures. As some of you may know, I started my first bulk in September. The pictures below show the start of the bulk vs 16 weeks and 4.3 kg later:

The long promised progress pics! To be honest I don't see much of a difference between the pictures... But those 4.3 kg have to be somewhere
