I like my pizza with a garlic & herb crust. As topping I usually do plain concentrated tomato puree with thinly sliced pieces of onion and paprika, covered with raw ham and mozzarella. Mmmmm, maybe I should make myself some pizza this week. Edited to add that this is especially delicious with some fresh arugula on top.

Good idea!

I'm sorry to hear times are rough for you. I applaud you for taking charge of your life, making it better. You can do it!

I'm kind off in the same situation. Have eaten all the goodies and have found the return of the belly roll  That said, TOM isn't helping. I'm thinking of letting everything settle for 1 or 2 weeks before weighing. I'm now about 3 months and halfway in this bulk, but pic's will have to wait a bit until I don't feel as…

Wonderful progress, congratulations!

Me, me! Leg day today  It was also fun to notice that all the regulars were in the weight room, but that all the cardio area's where empty

I'm not doing any direct ab work, but that's mostly because I just don't like doing it. Also, I don't expect visible abs to pop up anymore and don't want the little waist definition I have left to disappear. So I just trust the compound work to address the abs...

Looks like you are well on track! Happy holidays :flowerforyou:

Nope, my gym is open 24/7, 365 days per year. Over Christmas the normal classes are replaced with special holiday editions, but I'm not there for those anyway. It's leg day for me on the 25th

I agree with Primalrunner, if it is similar to what we experienced, this phase will also pass in a couple of weeks. Just enjoy it

Oh wow! Those are certainly incredible stats. I'm so not in that ballpark! Started this bulk at 54 kg / 119 pounds with a length of 1.65 m / 5'5" and approx. BF of 19%. Intake was initially 2300 kcal per day but I dropped it down to 2200 because I gained too fast. Now I haven't been gaining for 3 weeks and will have to up…

Congratulations on the PR's!

Ditto to this! :smokin:

Also, I switched to a new workout routine. Previously I've been doing full body workouts three times per week. I've switched to an upper/lower split, twice per week. This morning was my first upper day and I must say that I really feel the higher volume. Good thing that I will have a massage tomorrow at work...

Week 11: week of 9 December 2013 Average intake of 2179 kcal per day. Weight per 14 December = 56.9: - 0.8 kg when compared with last week. + 2.9 kg from start of bulk, average of + 0.26 kg per week. I think I lost a bit of water weight, but am not too concerned about it, because it brings my gain rate to a more optimal…

Hello and welcome! :flowerforyou: Sounds like a good plan you've got there. What lifting routine are you doing?
-
Yes! The thought occurred to me last night that this would indeed be a great time to start mixing my protein shake with milk instead of water again. One can only drink a limited amount of wine and still function properly
-
I'm glad that I wasn't imagining things! It does make not logging during the holidays (which I intent to do) a tad more reliable in the not- overeating respect.

For myself I have noticed several distinct phases in this bulking thing. The first month or so, I was utterly ravenous, and had trouble sticking to my calorie goal because of it. After that I wasn't ravenous anymore, but just had trouble controlling myself with baked goods and sweets. And now that also has past and I'm…

I think Sock Puppets are kinda creepy....

Sounds like you're right on track!

I have nothing to add to what is already said above. Just wanting to give you a heads up that you can do this! :flowerforyou:

The programs I have been doing and the one I'm going to start next week don't have regular DL's, so never in my case. I have been doing SLDL's 3 times per week on my previous 3 x/ week full body routines. Next week I will be switching to an upper/lower split with 2 x /week SLDL.

You can do this hon! We're with you every step of the way, that's what this group is for

Thank you!
