Welcome! I have a 10 month old daughter :love: This works, i've been using MFP for about 5 weeks. Walking & drinking water help alot YOU CAN DO IT :smile:

i just tried non-fat frozen yogurt from the grocery store & it's pretty good! (i had Umpqua brand but they probably all are similar) only 100 cal & fat free!

if you need a quick snack it's good but the only flavor i like is the dark/rich chocolate & it has to be really cold!

Ice for first 72 hours, heat will increase the blood flow which in turn will cause more inflamation! (I'm not a professional but I've worked for a doctor for 10 years & that's what he always says)

don't stress, it will make you feel worse! When i'm sick i crave comfort foods. This is only temporary & hopefully soon you'll be able to get back to eating right. Try to drink lot's of fluids :drinker: :drinker: Get well soon:flowerforyou:

So true! i'm allergic to all artificial sweeteners, they're not good for your body

For long term results it really helps to train yourself to eat one cookie with natural ingredients, versus lowering the calorie content with chemicals so you can have 4 or 5.

hi & welcome :flowerforyou: i'm new too, started about a week ago. Everyone here is so nice & supportive!!! Think that's a great idea to have a reasonable goal, i'm going for 20 lbs. too. A great tip from everyone else that works is drink lots of water, it helps you not feel so hungry :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: Have fun

Hang in there, alot of us have been there...& might again :sad: I think sometimes for myself I set my goals too high because I want results NOW! Maybe you should cut yourself some slack, just walk a little each day & allow for some of your fave foods so you don't fall off the wagon. Set small goals so they're easier too…

I have tried Xylitol (derived from birch) & liked it. It may be little more expensive but a small amount go's a very long way :)

i'm new too & still experimenting on what feels you up. Have found if you eat a decent breakfast that you don't need to eat as soon & LOTS OF WATER! it really helps. i love a bowl of cereal or oatmeal in the morning a great lunch idea is refried beans (rosarita traditional fat-free & mix with water to stretch) only 100 cal…

thanks for all the great info! eating organic for years now & try to avoid hydrogenated oils. i'm breast feeding & read i need 1500 calories to maintain my milk...anyone know about this?

I'm trying to loose the baby weight & breastfeeding too...PP 9months. i'm torn between keeping up the nursing because it's so good for my daughter but wondering if i wean her will the pounds come off faster?
