245 here this morning, but I had a Birthday Party and Christmas Party yesterday. Didn't do too bad, but no that I was down on Thursday (my normal weigh in day). But today was 245 so we will go with that. New week and new challenges ! ! !

Celebrating my 38th today too. I have been home all day with a sick child and am proud to say I have done pretty well. Keep him as a good luck charm, especially if he is bringing good luck. My cat does the same thing of sitting on the scale....I tell her she is down a pound or up a pound and she rolls her eyes at me. For some reason I don't think she is as obsessed with the scale as I am.

I am guilty of weighing myself daily. I too think that it motivates me into staying accountable for what I eat daily. However, I do not record a weight loss except on Thursdays. I too looked at your diary and the advice that has been given is great. One place I might try to make some changes is in your Carbs. They seem to be high, and on some days they even are over. Maybe try uping your Protein and lowering your carbs. Water is also another area that can never hurt. For me personally, my body…

My update in numbers: Started Challenge at 267.7 (11/3), and latest weigh in showed 247.6 (12/3) so that is a loss of 20.1 (insert a big woo~hoo here ) ! ! ! I started MFP on 11/15/10 2 weeks into my "diet". I will complete my first month tomorrow (12/04/10) and am currently 19 pounds smaller. You can do it ! ! If you've been staying at your calories, and only messed up on Thanksgiving, your probably down some. Just let it be motivation either way. If your down, then what your doing worked. If your up then you know why and can make changes.

Congratulations on a great week ! My only advice would be to start out small, and then build into the addiction that people are talking about. Just think of it as in the end your really doing something for them too. You will be healthier, feel better, and have more energy to do things for them even longer. Hang in there and don't beat yourself up ! !
