Ditto, I just plug it into the Google conversion (if I can't find the same food with a grams "serving" option).

That time of the day is usually the worst for me as well. These are the things that fill me up, for around ~200 calories each: - a Kind bar - cup of instant oatmeal (I've been eating Kodiak Cakes Oatmeal Unleashed + protein) - an avocado and/or a cheese stick

Eggs (fried, boiled, whatever) and salad. Baked teriyaki salmon with a sriracha cream sauce over rice. Pasta is always so damn easy to make...

The three B's: Bacon, Beer, and Butter. Mmmmm.

Ummm what! What are the flavors? I've never actually gone shopping for cottage cheese, just eat it at the restaurant I work at as my side job. Tell me more about the flavors!! :D

I was really grossed out by cottage cheese as a kid and wouldn't touch the stuff. I just discovered how it can be good and dressed up at age 22. I love adding it to my salad. My favorite version of cottage cheese? Add a savory dressing (I like creamy caesar or a peppercorn ranch that used to be at my work), and Mrs. Dash.…

Cold turkey is just not achievable for every individual. You need to find what works for you. Maybe it's some type of nicotine replacement therapy and stepping down the quantity bit by bit, or a perception change, or a combination of both. I set myself a goal of being a non-smoker by the end of my 25th year - so I have…

Beer is always a good decision. I mean. Follow your heart. o:)

Hi all. I'm 24. I'm 5'6". My first goal is to lose 20 pounds and I'm down about 7, so ~13 or so to go. Feel free to add me! Edit: OP photos are a little bit worrisome: just to be clear I am taking the "slow and steady" approach to losing weight and getting healthy. I'm not interested in any "ana" type support or…

Most of my shopping is done at Fred Meyers or Albertsons, because those stores are located right by my house. Less frequently, I shop at Natural Grocers, Winco, Costco, and occasionally Walmart. We have a Whole Foods and Trader Joes now but I've actually never shopped at those stores. I live in Southwest Idaho.

I've been eating salad for "breakfast" (I bring it with me to work, but usually don't eat until mid-morning). Spring mix with one or two hard boiled eggs and some Newman's Own caesar dressing. Not traditional breakfast, but I've been digging it lately. I've also been getting back into overnight oats. Really easy to make…

Sounds like some redpill bs being regurgitated.

5'6" CW: 159 (so excited to be below 160!) GW: ~130, not really set. I'd be stoked with anything in the 130's. After that, we'll see.

Mine is thirty-some inches. I don't bump into walls but I do have limited room. I throw on a TV show and hoop through the whole thing, changing arm/leg positions, occasionally spinning, and shifting weight. I get a good sweat on and I can do it for longer because I'm distracted by the TV ;) My main thing is I just try to…

cans. As long as there's beer inside.... ...but probably bottles. I feel like they stay cool longer and there's a much wider variety of craft beer in bottles than cans. I'm lucky in that two of my favorite local breweries sell cans, but almost anything else from out of state is only available in bottles.

I don't think that's bad. Dead Guy is one of my favorite beers to date, but I honestly think Rogue has gotten too comfortable after winning Best Beer for so many years in a row, and they aren't keeping up with all of the newer micro/craft breweries that have popped up over the past ~5 years. I am disappointed by a lot of…

I consider myself a beer enthusiast/striving to be expert (I would like to take the first level Cicerone certification when I have a spare $60). Personally, my favorite style is a red. I have yet to meet a red that I don't like. But, like you, I like a lot of different styles if the beer itself is good, from an IPA to a…

We didn't have children, but the period during/after my first marriage ending was the most amazing. Sure, it was terrifying, that's why it took me over a year to actually do it. But afterwards, I've never felt so right, so in control, and so free.

I feel this way about ramen. One ramen (one block) is 2 servings. A half of a pot of ramen wouldn't fill up a bird! Okay, maybe a bird, but...

I have the opposite problem, disbelief at how small I USED to be. My next younger sister is a size 3-5 in Juniors, when I was her age - and up until I was 20, actually - I wore a size 0 or 1 in Juniors and 0 or 2 in misses. She already looks so tiny, and I was even smaller! At the store I sometimes look at a pair of 0…

For what it's worth, however, brewed/drip coffee has more caffeine than espresso. Furthermore, the lighter the roast of coffee, the more caffeine it has as well. I personally prefer the taste of (expertly) brewed coffee to espresso, and as far as the caffeine kick goes, it's basically more bang for your buck.

Poutine....oh sweet baby Jesus....

I don't think I could stop entirely, either - well, I don't WANT to, it's a choice - but I could certainly cut back. When I do drink my average is usually 3 pints of beer, I'd like that average to be 1 pint, I think cutting that back in itself would make a huge difference. So while I upfront know it won't be an entire two…

I just recently heard about 5:2 (just today, actually!) and I am interested... since just reading briefly about it, I'm considering trying it, but I am wondering if anyone who has done this has any constructive feedback about it and maybe some real life experience to throw in?

I am also a beer girl so this is rough for me, especially because my favorite mixed drinks are Bloody Mary's and White Russians. Oh dear. I don't know the calorie count off the top of my head but when I am drinking liquor and am trying to not drink a bazillion calories, I will typically get a whiskey or gin, tonic, and…

I will eat straight cream cheese if there is no appropriate vessel with which to transfer it to my mouth.

I am on day 19 of 30. I'm making myself wait until I'm done with day 30 to take my after pictures and take my measurements again, so I can't give you anything to look at - BUT: 1) I FEEL so much better. I take 2 rest days in a week (5 days of workout for 2 days of rest, I spread them out. Usually Tuesday and Saturday are…
