Just calculated your BMR using http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ which is all over MFP - BMR 2029-2055 depending on if 5'8" or 5'10". You're a young male. Not surprising at all.

That said- I am also going to get a HRM. Waiting until this Christmas. The HRM is going to give you truly accurate calories. To me, they are two different…

First off - love my FITBIT! On average, I was getting 4-5k steps a day just doing my normal thing at work. My first goal was to get up to 8k steps/day. Then I increased it to 10k steps/day. For 2 months, I have consistently averaged more than 10k steps/day. I usually take 1 rest day so I don't get 10k that day but the…

In my experience, it takes a lot more weight to go from a 18 to 16 than a 10 to 8. Don't know why but it's happened and my sister. Focus on how your clothes feel more than the weight. I know it's dissapointing to lose a lot then still be in the same size but the truth is in the mirror. Your clothes fit better now and are…

1. What Week/Day are you on? W3D2 2. How do you feel? pretty good 3. Have you had to repeat a week or day? not yet... 4. Did you add time or remove time from one of your runs? I don't like a 5 minute cool down. seems too long so I always add an interval 5. Do you notice something different about yourself yet? not yet...

CONGRATULATIONS!!

I'm large framed and GW is 150! You have to take into account your body frame when setting a weight goal :-) I once got down to 138 (by unhealthy means) and looking back I was on the verge of too skinny for my frame. Absolutely could not be 120 and look good!
