I'm usually up around 6:20AM and out the door around 6:45-7:00AM to do my morning run. I'm a SAHM, so the morning is really the only time that I'm able to get my workout in since my husband goes in the evenings after work. The way I feel after I run keeps me motivated. I've had the best luck with bare feet. I usually start in shoes and end up kicking them off.

Great job finding the motivation to do anything being that far along! Walking is a good exercise, and certainly beats doing nothing.

Another suggestion for Runkeeper. I find that it's pretty accurate and I love when it lets me know I set a new record.
