thank you both for your replies. They really made me think. A lot of my resistance comes from fear of the societal ramifications. I feel like an outlier for even thinking such things, but my health is at stake.

Yeah PMS sucks. My appetite is always increased ten fold during that time, so don't feel bad it's not just you. It balances out though because during the first 3 days of my period I have no appetite.
