I do a lot of running or did, I'm now 8 weeks from delivery, so I'm not quite running anymore. I was running 3-6 miles 2-3 days per week until around 24ish weeks or so, but then I had what felt like a slipped disc in my back and was out of running for about 3 weeks. I lost too much momentum to pick it back up…

I was completely oblivious with my first and was 24w and my H felt him around 26w. With my second, I had the placenta in front, so I felt him around 22w and I don't remember when H felt him. With this babe, I was at 18w when I felt her and H felt her at 20w.

I would go with an infant and then switch for all of the reasons previously mentioned (mainly ease of getting in and out of the car). I live in a colder climate so to expect that I could wear a baby in the dead of winter isn't ideal. The downside for me is that I have big kids. They start out as average babies (8 and 8 1/2…

Background - I had a vaginal delivery with my first with very serious complications that led to them not allowing me to attempt more vaginal deliveries, so c-section with my second and will have another c with this babe. With that said, I started walking after 1 week, but I was so tired and paranoid with my first babe that…

WIth my first two kids, I gained the bulk of my weight in my second trimester and then gained only a couple of lbs during my 3rd trimester. Since I'm just barely into my 3rd trimester, I'm not sure how this pg is working out, but I'm only at 23lb gain at 31w and I gained 39 and 43 with my first two.

I continued my heavy lifting for awhile and was comfortable, you'll know when you want to switch things up and just not feel good doing certain moves typically around 20 weeks for me. I've done the NROFL4W before and think it's fine. Especially since you've been already doing it. I'm not familiar with Body Fortress, but I…

This happened to me too. I had two healthy babes and then 3 miscarriages, one of them at 12 weeks after we had already told everyone we were pg. So this is our third and we waited until the second trimester to tell our families, even my mom and sisters, which killed me and then the rest of the world after that. I'm 31…

I am not vegetarian normally, but have meat aversion during this pregnancy, so I eat 90% vegetarian and I'm 31 weeks.

Yesterday when I was out to lunch with a male friend, he goes, "You're really pregnant." I said, well I have 9 weeks to go. And then he comes back with "That's it?" yes, so apparently you thought I was big until you realized I'm closing in on the end. Then it's okay to be big. Also, I don't know how many people have said,…

Have you tried a tummy sleeve? I'm on my third pregnancy and love my tummy sleeves from Motherhood. I had purchased some "fat" work pants for the transition period once I had my first son and wore those with a tummy sleeve throughout my entire pregnancy. I am still wearing those fat pants this pregnancy with my sleeves and…

Yep, I use it on days that I lift to boost my protein intake.

I currently use MuscleTech. I have Vanilla and Chocolate and I just use one scoop with water in a small nalgene after my workout. You can use a blender bottle, but MuscleTech is fairly fine and just doesn't clump like some of the others I've tried.

Congrats! I'm also pg with #3. I am 29w and still working out. I worked out and stayed in shape with the other 2, but this is the first one where I've tracked with MFP. I didn't add any calories to the first trimester and was able to maintain all my exercise routines. Bumped a couple of hundred calories for my 2nd…

I run half marathons and do 90% of my training on a treadmill. I don't do anything special. Just set it at my race pace and go during my long runs. I tend to only run 3 days per week when training and two days, I do shorter runs (4-5 mile range) and do those at various speeds purely to keep me from getting bored. I do get…

My husband is 6ft7in, so I feel your pain or he does anyway. He needs to eat close to 4000 calories a day on intense workout days and he definitely get overwhelemed trying to get it all in. He eats a 4 full egg omelet with ham, cheese on 2 pieces of ww toast with butter for breakfast. He makes his protein shakes with pb…

I went through this too and spent more time in the pool at the gym than usual until the pain subsided so I felt like I was still making progress.

Stick to your guns! This is my third kid and my life is in a different place, so we'll see if I proceed differently, but with my first two, I traveled for work, so pumping while traveling via air 2 or 3 weeks per month was a nightmare. I found that if I had opinions on the matter and started out by saying that everyone has…

I had them done with my first 2 kids. Our first set with my oldest son were very artistic, think sheets pulled to accent the silhouette, but not being able to see my face. We also did some that were more traditional portraits as well. I put each of them into the maternity book (I was also religious about taking pics every…

Don't worry about what others are saying, if you're health care provider is concerned with your size, that's different. My husband is 6'7" and he was born 12 weeks early at 3lbs2 oz and I was 2 weeks late at 10lbs13oz. My first two sons were born at 8 and 8 1/2 respectively. You'll be fine!

I travel a lot for work and I don't worry so much about calories while on the road, but sodium. A lot of restaurants have online nutrition guides, educate yourself before you go. I also pack protein shakes for post workout, almonds, granola bars and then pick up fruit and veggies as snacks at a local grocery store once I…
