My go-to breakfast is a steel-cut oatmeal from Trader Joe's (it can be found in the frozen section) that I microwave, then add whatever fruit I have on hand. I really like to add raspberries, blueberries or oranges to it. It is super yummy, nutritious and easy.

A salad from Trader Joe's: Roasted Butternut Squash, Red Quinoa and Wheatberry Salad. It is delicious and a good combo of whole grains, veggies, protein and fat.

I'm no RD but I do know that spinach is a good source of iron, and also that our bodies best absorb iron when we eat it with foods high in vitamin C. I'm so glad I saw this! I've been logging my strenth training as individual exercises and was dissappointed when it didn't reflect any calories burned, especially when I've sweated plenty, can feel my heart beating and know that I'm getting a good workout! Thanks for the tip.
