When I started I put "Sedentary" ( just staying alive ) as my life style. So now ANY walk or activity can be listed as extra calories earned. It's working great for me.... My initial daily calorie goal is low (1600) but if I want a few hundred more I go on a long walk, elliptical, etc...

Unless you have a scale certified for trade by the dept of weights and measures they are just indicators basically. i can weigh 3 times in 30 seconds and get three different readings.lol ( digital scale ) So i only weigh once a week now. NO EXCEPTIONS. i'm alot happier for it..

I used to do the same thing. But this attempt I VOWED to only do it once a week. Having much more success. You can't win be constantly weighing yourself. You know what, for years I would do great for a few weeks then take a one or two day break. Problem is, the break turned into months.. I KNOW now that I can't deviate before my goal..... It's easier to STAY on track then to get BACK on track.. glad you came back...

I get the same thing. I know it's not healthy to put your body in that mode. But, MFP may put that notice as a liability thing as much as any other reason. Some days I'm closer then others to my calorie allotment. I just make sure I have three lite and balanced meals everyday with a few snacks thrown in as the day goes by.…
