I did the 30 DS everyday for 30 days & also did the elliptical most days.

It's hard to tell without seeing your diary. Are you staying within your calories & macros? Are you drinking LOTS of water? Have you measured to see if you're losing inches? With only 40 lbs to lose you should definitely measure. How are your clothes fitting? When you workout a lot your muscles hold onto water to help…

I just turned 35 & have major loose skin. I've lost 100 lbs & have 51 more to go before I reassess. I was HUGE though, 5'2 & SW 314. Right now the major places are arms, boobs, inner thighs, & some on my butt. I haven't lost enough of my stomach for that to be a problem yet, but I thinks it's fairly inevitable. Everyone is…

Good for you! Get used to the praise & small (but huge) victories because they will come more & more often. You're setting a great example for your son too! Keep up the hard work & enjoy you NSV's!

SO EXCITING!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! I hit 100 lbs today too. I'm thinking I need to have a party in my pants too! Lol
-
@ Tina... you're absolutely right! Over the past month I've lost & gained 5 lbs countless times, but through perseverance & changing things up, I managed to break my plateau this morning. As long as you never give up you'll always meet your goals. Time shouldn't be a facto because this is for life. :)

I'm also in this for life. Feel free to add me. DON'T GIVE UP!!! When things get really hard, look at how far you've come. Put up pics around your house, including your fridge, of the body you want. On days that you don't feel like exercising keep your calories down & remember tomorrow is another day. There was a long poem…

I'd suggest rest & stretch, stretch, stretch!

I love my salads too! I put kidney beans in them & they make it so good. I love all the veggies & mushrooms. Yum! Now if I could just get someone to come over & make them for me. =)

Definitely must try this! YUM!

Fabulous! Successfully eating out is hard! I avoid it as much as possible. You're doing great. I'm sure you're really proud to see all your hard work paying off. I also avoided pants that weren't elastic for a long time. Sweats & yoga pants were my best friend...lol.

You look GREAT!!! You lost it in all the right places. I've lost 99 lbs & I'm waiting for my stomach to go.

I never eat out either, but I always loved the chicken blt salad from Wendy's with low fat honey mustard dressing. Very filling!
-
I've also went out & not drank. My biggest rule is DO NOT EAT OUT!
-
I used to have the same problem. What got me past it is thinking abt all my hard work during the week, making sure I get my exercise in if I'm going to drink, & not eating while I'm out. I eat after I get home from drinking. My body has also kind of made the decision for me. I used to put away 10-12 beers without a…

Thank you! Walmart tends to be a little less expensive.

Thanks! I'll do that Friday!

Thank you everyone! Eating clean has been something I'm working on. I've added a lot more vegetables. Salads have become a staple lately. I really need to cut the cheese out altogether. I didn't know yogurt was a good source of protein. I did eat fish today, but it had quite a bit of sodium. I'll check out different tuna…
-
I was drinking protein shakes everyday & actually had one today. I wasn't drinking them for a few days. It's hard for me to up my protein, which I've been trying to do, without raising my sodium. I do drink 8+ glasses of water throughout the day. I realize MFP probably over estimates my exercise so I don't eat all my…

My sodium is usually high. Everything has so much sodium in it. I was trying to watch it pretty carefully but it got overwhelming. EXCUSE! I do drink a ton of water, but I don't log it because besides 1 diet soda a day it's all I drink so it's hard to track. Thank you!

I LOVE THIS!!! 1. I am obsessed & addicted to this lifestyle change. It's pretty much 90% of what I think about whether it be on here, Googling stuff, reading anything & everything food & exercise related, etc. 2. I've been majorly slacking on FB because I'd rather be on here. 3. Success stories with pics & lots of details…

You look freaking amazing!!!! You look years younger & honestly, like a totally different person! Thanks for sharing your pics & helping motivate us that are close, but still so far away. :drinker:

I refuse to pay the ridiculous prices some places charge. I buy chocolate peanut butter whey protein from Walmart & mix one scoop with 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, half a frozen banana, & a cup of crushed ice on my blender & it's really good.I've found the almond milk makes it taste a lot better & it's only 30…

Shopping! Nothing like cute smaller clothes to make you happy & feel good!

I did the 30 DS & then immediately started Ripped in 30. Today was Day 1 of Week 3 & HOLY *kitten*!!! Level 3 is BRUTAL! I could only do a little more than half of the stuff & my heart was pounding out of my chest & I was dripping swear. I didn't quit though & will do it again tomorrow. I may stay on this level a little…

USA, St Louis, MO.... GO CARDINALS!!!

You look amazing! And your belly looks flat to me! :) It's sad that it takes something as drastic as a death, I lost my younger sister, to make us realize what we need to do & to motivate ourselves. BUT, as sad as it is, at least we've done it. Not everyone can say the same thing! Keep up the hard work & you'll stay the…

I loved reading every minute of reading your post. I feel the same way about everything you said. I've been on this journey since February & have been using MFP since August. I'm closing in on 100 lbs & have a little over 50 to go to meet my ultimate goal. At that point I will reassess & go from there. I also want to run.…
