Good for you!!! I can't wait to see the scale start with a 1! I'm hoping by January first. :)

I do the Sam's thing. You didn't lose muscle, it was water weight. When you workout your muscles retain water to repair themselves. I plateaued & did a reset, stopped working out & ate at maintenance for a week. That was the week leading up to Thanksgiving. I lost that week & have lost about 6-8 lbs since then. I think…

^^^^^^^^ THIS & I've lost 106 lbs!

I was a 1200 calorie /day person too & hit a 2 month plateau after losing around 100 lbs. I worked out 6-7 days a week & nothing was happening. I was advised to do a reset meaning eat at maintenance for a week, u should probably go for 2 weeks & no exercise. After that time I took my lbs/week from 2 to 1 1/2. I was scared…

I eat 40% protein, 40% carbs, & 20% fat. I find protein keeps me fuller longer & MFP's setting of 55% carbs seems pretty high. It's worked for me. I also told my Dr & he didn't suggest any changes.

HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! Good for you!

Definitely drop the Sunkist. If you're going to use soda to keep you awake, I'd switch to diet. No calories. I rarely drink soda, but I used to drink a ton. When I do, I drink Diet mountain dew. I'd give the Crystal Light energy packets a try. They taste good & you just mix with water so it's super easy & very few calories.
-
I'll have to try that. ^^^ I don't have PB2 anywhere close to me either. You can find organic powdered peanut butter at most health food stores & it's really good. I'm pretty sure it's the same thing as PB2.

I mix mine with unsweetened almond milk. It's only 30 calories per cup & makes the shakes taste a heck of a lot better.

For me, water makes a HUGE difference! I drink a minimum of 12 cups per day (96oz). Not only does it flush you out, it's made huge improvements in my skin. I find that I lose more weight, & if you're eating a lot of sodium it helps with that. The biggest thing is when I'm well hydrated I don't retain water. Retaining water…

It's hard to say without seeing your diary. I will tell you that the last few lbs always come off the slowest. How's your sodium intake? I was stuck for a long time & started really watching my sodium & I lost 4 lbs this week. Also, are you looking at your macros, carbs, protein, fat?

That's great! Some of mine are being able to cross my legs like a girl & not taking up a whole cushion on my couch...lol. As far as in the shower, I've noticed it takes me a lot less time to shave my legs because I've lost so much of them. :)

I'm 35 & have lost 102 lbs over the past year. I have about 50 more lbs to go. I have TONS of loose skin, especially on my arms & legs. I haven't lost enough of my stomach for that to be bad yet. I topped out at 328 & started losing at 314. I am currently 211. I had extensive leg surgeries after being pinned between 2 cars…

I'm in Pevely, a little south of St Louis. I've lost 102 lbs & have about 50 lbs to go.
-
That doesn't seem high to me for the amount of time & your weight. I started at 314 & am currently 211. You'll notice as your weight goes down, so will the amount of calories you burn. Keep up the great work! You'll start noticing big changes pretty quickly. =)
-
You look fabulous! You carry your weight very well! You're gorgeous at 310 & now. I love the pic with the pink shirt facing forward. I'd never have guessed in a million years that you were over 200 lbs. =)
-
You look fantastic & I think your belly looks GREAT!!!
-
I know it helps me a lot because my sodium intake is pretty high. I try to watch it, but it's hard for me to get all my calories in without going over.
-
My feet have gotten smaller also. I was an 8-8 1/2 wide & I tried on some boots of my moms the other day that were 7's & they fit. This is also the first year I've been able to get my big calves to fit in tall boots. My fingers are also smaller. I had a really cute ring & I tried to wear it the other night, TOO BIG!

I bought a lot of new clothes when I first started losing. I don't think I really believed I'd come as far as I have, 102 lbs lost so far. Unfortunately that was a huge waste because I didn't get much use out of them. I'm thinking of taking them to a resale shop hoping to get a little money for them. I've been lucky that I…

CONGRATULATIONS!!! That was a goal of mine too & I reached it earlier this month also. :)

I just looked at your profile & first I want to tell you congratulations on all your hard work & for getting on top of this while you're so young! You're a beautiful girl! I would just flat out tell them, in a nice way, that you don't think whatever they made is the healthiest choice for you & that you don't want to get…

It's funny that I just came across this because I made out my Christmas list for my husband earlier today & that's all I water. Adjustable hand weights Food scale body fat/muscle mass scale exercise ball New Rules of Weight Lifting for Women HRM

Bump!

^^^^^^^ DEFINITELY THIS!

Great job! I looked at your other pics & I can see an even bigger difference in your body. Congrats on all your hard work & I know you'll continue to kick butt in the future! :drinker:

We had a fairly simple Thanksgiving this year. We smoked a turkey, dressing/stuffing, I don't cook mine in the turkey, garlic mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, brown & serve dinner roles, & pumpkin pie. I use sage sausage in my stuffing which I guess is kind of unusual, but everyone in my family loves it. Really all…

I live with my husband, 2 girls, & mom. Mom kind of does it with me, but not really anyone else. I cook healthy & if they don't like it then usually tough *kitten*. If it's something I know they'll all hate or that's kind of weird then I prepare one meal for them & I eat my healthy meal. It doesn't bother me too much. It's…

I'm 5'2 & I've lost 100 lbs so far. I'm at 213 now. I've done a couple Jillian Michaels DVD's. Do you think it's possible for me to do this?

You look fantastic! I don't even have the words to tell you how amazing you are. The amount of work & dedication alone is amazing. I started at 314 & can't imagine being 145 & you're so close! I've lost 100 lbs so far & want to lose 50 more. People like you ate such an inspiration for me because you've went above & beyond.…
