There's alot of us 60 + out there! I just started this MFP journey myself, so I know how you feel. I, too would like to find some friends here that are seriously wanting to change their health for the better. I have a very long way to go. Maybe we can get a 60 + group together for moral support !:smile:

Many people do not know that with RnY you can not get kidney or any transplants due to the inability to metabolize the anti rejection medications. This I…

Great job! My daughter had this surgery and I had been looking into having it as well, but found out that because of failing kidneys the Drs will only do the sleeve. You can not get kidney transplants due to not being able to absorb anti rejection meds with RnY. MFP is my last hope b4 undergoing such a drastic surgery.…

Congratulations on your weightloss! Great job! I have been going to meetings looking into RnY or VSG. I can't have RnY due to kidney problems. I'm trying MFP as a last resort b4 undergoing such a drastic surgery! If I'm not successful here than surgery is my last hope!

I think everyone who has written has given you some wonderful advice! Don't worry so much about something that is beyond your control. Just do whatever your Drs advise you to do and think positive and I know everyone will be keeping you in their thoughts and prayers. Everything's going to be ok!
