Yes celebrate and be proud of your loss. It may be tiny baby steps, but bit by bit you will do it. Think of the changes you are slowly making, it is a slow process but you are so worth it.

It has been a year and a half since I started changing my lifestyle, and really did not think I changed restaurants, other than I no longer have the same tastes. So I guess I gave up big macs, as have no desire for them any longer/ Eileen

I must withdraw from the challenge, as it is starting to cause me problems. To everyone else, Enjoy Eileen

Since I stopped eating any form of winegums or jube jube candies, a couple years ago, that type of candy especially will not come in our home, as it was a habit and don't want to start it again. Safe treats that don't bother me are juice boxes, pop, granola bars, cheese/cracker snack treats, chips.

For me I will not make goals, but rather by drinking my water, making good food choices, and exercising, works better for me. I use a jar of dominoes and place 1 for each lb I lose. Each day is a new day with no mistakes Eileen

I was on ww for 18 months and lost 70 lbs, and also learned so much from it. To me it is all the same either pts or calories. I felt I needed a change as didn't have the motivation. Again best of all is that this is free.

I agree with the other posters about adding another 200 cals. I myself could not do the 1000 cal, I do 1200 and even somedays it is a challenge. I "d think of asking myself if I could completely stay on the 1000 cal and if not maybe just try adding up to 200 cals. Eileen

Count me in. This will be so perfect as it is one the the exercises that my physio has requested I continue doing. Eileen

Hi!, I am new to mfp and loving it. I have 30-40 lbs that I want to lose. Motivation is the key to success along our weight loss journey. I had lost 70 lbs with weight watchers in the past year and a half, but found I was missing motivation, so needed to change things around a bit. It is once again working for me. Eileen

Hi everyone, I turned 57 this year, and just joined mfp about 2 weeks ago. I retired a few years ago after having heel surgery. I had been doing weight watchers (lost 70 lbs) prior to joining mfp, as I felt I needed a change to kick my butt to lose the last 30-40 lbs. Looking forwarding to getting to know you all. Eileen

Hi! You may also want to try celiac.com This is the site I had used for my daughter several years ago. This will be challenging especially when eating out, but occasionally you maybe find gluten free restaurants, or have a celiac restaurant card which when shown, they tend to pay more attention to it. All the best, just…

Sorry I am from Canada and am so happy that I finally found an accurate scale that works, after a few months of searching. It is brand and was purchased at the Bay, (not e-bay) Finding an accurate scale is getting more difficult.

Feeling sleepy after carbs that is me a bit, so I never eat carbs when driving long distances. We find we eat enough of them when eating out, so we try to limit or omit them in our home.

Michelle, Congrats to you with all your hard work , that made it possible for your loss. I lost about 68 lbs over the last 18 months, and now for me for the last 30 lbs, I am finding it more difficult to be motivated. I also have wonderful support of family and friends. I understand your frustration for the last lbs.,…
