Make porridge with water, you can add mixed spice, ginger etc to brighten it up.

I eat bread almost every day too, sure it's calorie heavy but you have to have a bit of what you fancy or you won't stick to your diet. I've still lost 47lbs and don't feel like I have been in denial at all. Just don't cheat!
