I was told for years that I had a low thyroid, but not low enough to be diagnosed. After years of this I ended up getting very sick and barely able to function. I ended up in the ER, with a great doctor who FINALLY listened to me and diagnosed me even though the labs were "normal." The labs are only a range, everyone is…

But shouldn't it be calculation my calories burned from what it is reading from the heart rate sensor? MMF recognizes the sensor, it shows my heart rate as I am exercising, but there is no way I burned that many calories.

I was using MMF on my phone as the "monitor'. I just used the chest strap sensor. I know that most sites are only a guestimate but the number is over double what is should be.

You look amazing and beautiful! Thank you for sharing your story, it is very inspiring!

It is harder to follow the groups on MFP and when new messages are posted. I am ready to get started though. My Chalean arrived yesterday and I am going to buy some heavier weights today.

Forgot to post yesterday, but since I started I am down 4 lbs.

It started for me when I realized I have gluten insensitivity. I tried going gluten free and paleo at first. I couldn't stick 100% to the paleo -- I just couldn't look at another egg in the morning! lol! So I am somewhere in between now.. The times I have cheated, I felt awful so I am working on a happy medium now so I can…

I have experienced the same side effects when I don't eat clean. I have also noticed that I really don't enjoy the processed foods as much as I think I am going to and also that some actually taste disgusting to me now, where before I was so tolerant to I guess the chemicals in them that I didn't even taste them.

Hi everyone! I just joined MFP recently also. I am currently trying to eat clean/gluten free. I had foot surgery in May, so I am just now trying to start to get back into exercise. Some days it is hard for me to wear my sneakers for too long, so I have been walking barefoot at home with the Wii Walk it out and I just…

Yes! I craved sweets like crazy. I feel like when I am tired I crave them the most because my body wants a quick fix for energy, then after I binge on the sweets, I want salt. I recently learned that I am gluten sensitive, so I have been experimenting with low/no carb diet since may. Honestly I got to the point where I…

Mondays work for me!

I am new to MFP and am trying to follow what they recommend for my calorie intake for the day and I do eat the exercise calories they add for me. I am finding that some days I am perfectly fine and other nights I am ravenous by the time I go to bed even though I have had a decent dinner. I didn't want to fall back to my…

I have the fitbit also. Just upgraded to the fitbit ultra, which also tracks stairs climbed. The website is laid out very well, customer service is excellent and I have met many great people on the fitbit forums, and on Facebook. Once you have it set up, you can track your progress on the website also. Here you can set…
