  • All-Clad SS Cookware! My old cheap cookware had a handle that was loose. The pot turned and spilled hot food on me. I told my husband that I wasn't cooking another meal until I got new cookware. He told me to go buy whatever I wanted and I did. He wasn't expecting me to spend $700 on a set of cookware but now he realizes…
  • I have the LifeProof case for my iphone. It cost me $80 at AT&T when I purchased my phone. The phone was actually submerged in water for display. I believe its waterproof up to 6 feet. They only had black and white, but if you go to the website you can get other colors. You have to make sure and close the cover over the…
  • I was at a comfortable size 24 and my 7 lbs lost made my size 22' very snug, but wearable. In the past, it took about 15 lbs before I was comfortable to go down a size on my 5' frame.
  • Honest answers? I battle finding that honest answer myself. After years of therapy I know the answer but admitting it reopens the wounds and makes me feel like a victim all over again. But part of my healthy lifestyle journey includes mental health so I am confronting that demon this time and will no longer look at myself…
  • Since you have struggled with an eating disorder in the past, have you considered trying maintenance for 3-6 months and work on strength training?
  • I weigh twice a week and measure once a month. I've found that by weighing both on the weekend and mid-week, I tend to stay on track instead of "making up" calorie overloads by skimping the next day. It's a head game I know, but it works for me.
  • Losing weight with WW was a battle but with MFP it has been easy and I'm getting results. Somehow counting points didn't register the way counting calories, fat, carbs, fiber, and sodium has on MFP. The database and scanner are awesome. Plus it's FREE!
  • You look amazing and your journey photos gave me goose pumps. What I noticed about your was that smile that radiates self confidence - especially in your very first photo (what I'm guessing may be when you started the weight loss journey). I want that confidence within me. Thanks for posting.
  • You look great! Thanks for posting photos, its inspiration to see your progress.
  • I had a co-worker who lost 50 lbs before any of us noticed. I didn't even think she was overweight in the first place. It wasn't until after she work form fitting clothes that she mentioned she had lost the 50 lbs. Most people don't see a size, they see a person so they aren't observing the details of our figures they way…
  • First, congrats on the weight you've lost, but remember it's not just about the scale. Have you been taking your measurements on a regular basis? If not, start doing so now! Sometimes the scales don't reflect the truth of what is happening to our bodies. Next, are you being truthful with your food diary or are you slipping…
  • There are certain male wrists that I find sexy - not to thick, not to thin, clearly defined with strong lines. My husband has those wrists. Also eyes that smile, the touch that melts my soul, and a true laugh. All the men I've ever been attracted to had some combination of those traits.
  • I'm 5' nothing and have 100+ to lose. I want to get close to goal before the big 50 in 20 months.
  • If I don't lose the weight, I will be cheating myself and my family. The extra 100+ pounds has robbed me of energy and contributed to aggravated aches / pains and other health issues. I want to have the energy to keep play with my 2 yr granddaughter and just be able to enjoy life in general.
  • If you are using a Polar HRM, and you accurately set-up your information including your resting heart rate or basic metabolic rate, then the HRM calculation should be accurate and logged as displayed. polarusa.com had a post about this and I copied the response below with a link.…
  • I'm 5' 0" (if I'm honest with myself), well over 40, and have half of my body weight to lose. It can be done, It has been done, and I'm doing it!
  • Knead Knots
  • I'm going to spend the afternoon at my granddaughter's 2nd birthday party. Chasing after a bunch of toddlers may not be restful, but it'll sure be fun.
  • YES! A friend gave me a week's worth of the Wild Berry Wellness drink mix. I didn't like it with just plain water, so I mixed it with V8 Fusion Light Pom/Blueberry. Zeal did give me more energy, but the biggest difference is my pain has decreased. I started the Weight Management products this week along with using MFP to…
