  • some of these are really good!
  • oh it's not a matter of not being able to because of strength. I sprained my wrist and messed up my middle finger pretty badly about 6 weeks ago or so. i have a had time putting any kind of real weight on it. and it's frustrating me. grrr. :-)
  • i get frustrated with myself because of my bum wrist. it's hard to do anything that requires me to put weight on it. it's getting better every week, but it's still an issue. and that makes the work out less enjoyable because i am frustrated with myself........ does that make sense?
  • I"m not sure how to post pics HERE, like big enough to see ( not the tiny profile pics). if you'd like to see a side view of my midsection after week 1, message me and i'll send you a link. I'm real. nothing cookie cutter :-) promise!
  • that's so awesome! great job!!! it's a great program!!
  • i wasn't officially diagnosed with it, but did learn about it via some very real MDs, as in medical doctors, who also happen to be well educated in nutrition as well. i didn't have to buy anything from them, or pay them for anything. i learned what they had to teach, and then took their advice on how to treat/ reverse/…
  • speed was hard the first time. what i ended up doing was doing each move slow. at my own pace, in order to get it down. then i was able to increase the speed. i think it's a fun work out. i'm sure shaun T put the stretching in there for a reason so, i do it the way he designed it.
  • i think it's a great workout and one where i know i will see major changes as i keep doing it. it definitely made me acutely aware of how poor my balance is!! i had to work REALLY hard on anything that required balance. i look forward to seeing my progress with regards to that :-) i agree, the harder you push, the more you…
  • i love it!! i have to modify some because i sprained my left wrist 6 weeks ago, but otherwise i think it's a great ab work out! i was sore in my abs for THREE days after I did it the first time. i LOVE that!
  • it's a lot of jumping, and fast jumping at that. there is modification for all moves though. see if you can watch one of the preview videos. i haven't gotten to beta yet, but alpha is a lot of up and down.
  • i would do T25. if you felt it wasn't enough, you could always double up. gamma is an add on, and i've heard delta is in the works too.
  • it's a great work out program for travel!! we are going to a cottage at the end of aug and i know i will be brining it with me!
  • i confess i took a several month break from all groups on MFP, and a month off MFP altogether. bruce did occasionally text me hump days jokes, but otherwise no contact with anyone from MFP. still very much single. not dating at all. and life is great! :-) starting two jobs in aug and currently on my third interview for a…
  • I did not do the fast track plan, and have not been following their plans. I eat a paleo style diet, so some of the foods just don't work. i have just kept eating the way i've been eating since january. and yes, i totally feel like i have enough energy. i will say, i do drink shakeology every day. i started taking…
  • most of the success stories are real. my friend's hubby started with her, he's down 18 lbs in 3 weeks. i have another girlfriend that is doing it with her hubby! and two friends on my T25 challenge group that are doing it with their significant others as well. people are reporting decent pound and inches lost. i was down…
  • i usually do two work outs a night too. only I do Combat as my second work out. either one of the HIITS, or combat 30. something on the shorter side. makes for about 55 min. plus in one of those I still get to use my weights! so, i don't feel like i'm neglecting that part of my work outs either.
  • i am on day 15 of T25 and i LOVE LOVE LOVE it! i can't say a enough great things about it. for one, it's 25 minutes. there really isn't a lot of time for monotony in 25 minutes. most of the work outs have a burnout phase, which does QUICKLY repeat several exercises, but again, it's 25 min. start to finish. there just isn't…
  • Hi! i belong to two gyms, one does have child care included ( 40 min drive each way though) and the other has it at certain hours, but NOT included. this is the gym i would usually go to because it's closer to my house and i'd go when everyone was in school. not sure either are great choices if i'm going to work........ oh…
  • these are some really great ideas! thanks :-) i don't get a lunch break and the kids and i are pretty much on the same schedule so no time alone in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings, LOL! i am kid free every other weekend, and usually work out then anyway. its just a matter of finding the time and motivation though. i…
  • did you measure before and now? i don't ever "see" a difference, because i always think i look the same, but the measuring tape tells a different story. so do clothes!
  • cardiovascular wise, yes. did my 130 tonight with 5 lbs weights.
  • i'm doing them all at once, if i have time. just to get them done. i'm also doing the 100 push up challenge. so, i just do it all at the same time. i measured on saturday and my hips were down almost 2 inches in the two weeks i've been doing this. tonight, is 130........ i'm tempted to do like some of you are and add some…
  • <-- this is one of two fridges i have in my kitchen.
  • it's an old thread, but if the OP is still reading.... i'll just add---- do some research on the affects of hormones on your ability to control cravings....... and just how influential your hormones/ endocrine system are in your ability to lose weight. oh, and why you retain fluid and might experience PMS...... it's very…
  • at the end of the day, i like eating this way. and NO ONE will convince me that a diet FREE from processed foods is bad for me :-) i'm so happy i'm getting my kids on board. they are on spring break this week so it's the perfect time to start switching over to more paleo friendly breakfasts and lunches :-)
  • ahhh, my friend!! the issues is, i was in calorie deficit, for about two years. and i did not lose ONE SINGLE POUND. NOTHING. i tried the eat more to lose more weight thought process too. i joined MFP in jan 2012 and it wasn't until i "went paleo" in jan 2013 that i started losing pounds and inches!!!! so, it's definitely…
  • if you understand the way our bodies deal with foods and calories ( the science behind digestion, metabolism, the endocrine system, etc). you can see why paleo foods are treated differently by your body than foods that are processed, high carb, high sugar....... it's actually really interesting and the number one reason i…
  • i started an elimination diet in mid january 2013, cut out soy, sugar, eggs, corn, gluten, dairy, and peanuts. i did that for 3 weeks and liked how i felt and what i saw and was a little too comfy to add things back to see if i had food intolerances. i did though, and found that gluten makes my WHOLE mouth itch!!!! lips,…
