Hahaha....Me and my husband can't workout together. He's a power lifter and he believes the heavier the better. I am 100% pro heavy weights myself, however I tore my acl playing volleyball about 10 years ago and my knee has never been the same. Although my knee plagues me much less when I'm in shape and working it....It…

Thank you! Try not to get too discouraged....those last few pounds are the hardest to lose but they make a huge difference!

Awww man this gave me a good laugh this morning! Love it! It's like I always say, I may be married but I'm not BLIND! I look...hell sometimes I may even double or triple take lol!

I'm gonna boil some eggs and dye them with my little boy  (he's finally old enough to do it yay!!). That will be my healthier alternative to candy easter eggs lol! At least they'll be pretty!

Actually, I'm scared to know! I don't log on my cheat day but I'd venture to say 3000+ lol! That's the beauty of my cheat day, I don't log, I don't practice portion control, I don't even look at the nutritional information! For some, cheating is bad because they aren't able to stop afterwards, but for me it's refreshing.…

This may sound weird, but think of yourself as a roll of paper towels and each single sheet is a pound. In the beginning the roll is big and if you remove 1 paper towel, yes it does get smaller but not noticeably smaller. But, the more you remove the smaller the roll gets and the smaller it gets, the easier it gets to…

Hang in there....I know there is a special lady out there for you!

Good ideas! Thank you! Hope you and baby are doing well!

Pretty sure. I'm 6'4, 185lbs and very active.

If I had no fear, I'd reach beyond my current level of fitness and go on to become a bodybuilder/fitness model. :blushing:

Wowie wow wow wow WOOOOOW!!!! What an incredible accomplishment! You look fantastic!
-
@ deineira - I'm kinda with you! I have done a good bit of weight training myself but the only heavy lifting I've do was in high school and college when I played volleyball and the kind of lifting we were doing wasn't geared toward looking good, it was more for strength and performance. I'm going to have to research the…

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/247123-15lbs-down-w-embarrassing-underwear-shots-eek Here it is!!! Now remember, this is only a 15 lb difference. Not that much weight on the scale, but a huge visible difference! The day I took these afters, was the day I stopped giving the scale so much credit. You CAN do this!…

I broke a plateau during my weight loss journey by zig zagging my calories. There are different ways to do it. The way I did it was I would keep my calories at around 1200 for 3 days, eat maintenance calories for 3 days, and then have 1 cheat day. I did this for about a month and shook up my exercise routine and BAM! NO…

Hello? Any rollerbladers out there?

You have a very nice look about you....you look sweet and you have nice eyes. 8.5

This is so very true! The number on the scale really doesn't mean that much. A person's body composition, frame size, etc really determines everything! I'm 6'4" , 185 lbs, medium frame. Even at my heaviest, my upper body was very slim, but I carry my weight in my butt and thighs. My goal is 180 lbs (almost there!) and I…

Thank you everyone for the awesome comments! Much love!

Absolutely one step at a time! I was lucky not to gain very much weight with my pregnancy (only 23 lbs) and my doctor felt that it had a lot to do with my build (I am a very tall and fairly large framed woman lol). There was plenty of room for my little man! Even with a normal gain, it took several months for me to return…

All of these goals are possible ladies and gents....keep working for them and when you do reach your fitness goals.....PLEASE reward yourselves with these awesome goals for goodness sake! We DESERVE to able to do these things!…

Thank y'all so much for the compliments...to me and my son lol! All of my MFP buddies have once again put a smile on my face and motivated me for yet another day! Have a great day everyone!

Hey there fellow tall lady! I think at 6'2" 180 will be a perfectly healthy weight from my experience. However, your body composition will mean a lot. 180lbs of muscle looks way better than 180lbs of fat. Diet and exercise are equally important on this journey....make sure you're not focusing too much on the scale. My…
