P90x is an extreme home workout plan that lasts for 90 days....It's the bomb! There are plenty of threads on here about it and lots of people doing it...just do a search....I'm really loving it!

Uh...yeah, I'm 6'4" and 180 lbs, so believe me when I say that I understand that! People always looked at me crazy when I said my goal weight was 180...for me that's thin, but for most it's very large. Stand tall and proud!

I am only on day 4 of the classic version. I have already reached my weight loss goal doing Jillian Michaels dvds. I decided to give P90x classic a try because I mostly want to gain a little muscle...I am also hoping that it will lean out my legs a little more. So sorry about your grandfather. Sometimes things like eating habits and exercise have to take a back seat to more important things...in your case, emotional healing. Your heart muscle is the most important one of all, and when it's hurting you just have to give yourself a break. Hang in there!

The workouts, with warm-up and cool down included are about 25 minutes. It's not the kind of jumping that makes a lot of noise...if that makes sense. Focus on a soft landing and it should be fine.

Almost all of the moves in the 30 DS have modified versions that are easier on the knees. Speaking from experience (Both of my knees have seen better days), my knees are much stronger now, after doing the 30 DS than they were before. I just modified when I needed to and kept on pushing.
