I use both the treadmill and elliptical. I feel I get a better workout on the elliptical by setting the program with varying resistance. It keeps it from being boring, and you can get an amazing cardio out of the high resistance.

I have found that if I workout too close to bed time, I am so hyped up from the workout that I can't fall asleep. I used to workout later in the evening but have found working out earlier allows me to fall asleep at a decent time. I don't think I can workout past 8 pm without serious sleep loss that night. I start out at the gym looking good, but by the end i am soaked with sweat. I wouldn't say all women have a beef with you looking good at the gym. For some it is simply jealousy. If you enjoy the way you look, don't worry about the way they look at you. Just remember that some are simply jealous.
