  • I started the situps and pushups challenges last night. I actually skipped to week 3 on the situps challenge because of the results of my initial test (that's what the program told me to do) and did day 1 last night. It was tougher than I thought to do 5 sets of situps. Since I have NO upper body strength, I got to start…
  • Okay, I've got to tell everyone about my new challenge. I've not really replied much to the water and exercise challenges because I really don't have problems with either of those. But I found out about the situps challenge from another thread I'm on, and I did the initial test last night. I'm excited to see my progress as…
  • So I did the initial test for the situp challenge last night. I did 50--WOW, I impressed myself (although I'm not sure the last 5 or so were "good form"). I will be skipping weeks 1 and 2 as well and starting on week 3. Yikes! I'm going to start tonight. I'm a little nervous, but I've gotta do something with these abs.…
  • Read this...maybe it will help. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/10589-for-those-confused-or-questioning-eating-your-exercise-calo
  • The situp and pushup challenges look great! I'll join you! Are you going to start this week on the situp challenge?
  • And it won't ever go below 1200--that's the very minimum that your body needs!
  • I think you have to go back and reset your goals (it doesn't do it for you). When I got to a certain weight it asked me if I wanted to reset my goals and I did. Just go back and do that every so often to make sure you're eating the right amount of calories.
  • Weigh-in day for me! 160 today--down from 162. This is, however, the most I've weighed all week (I've been consistently at 158.8 for most of the week) so I feel like some of this is water weight. 158.8 is probably more accurate, BUT since 160 is what I weighed this morning, this is the number I'm posting.

  • Nope, sorry, they're under no obligation to tell you that the car has been wrecked. They're trying to sell it, remember?? They will usually run a car fax report on it for you--but you have to ask.
  • My job!!!!!
  • Didn't post my weigh-in on Friday, but I was the same as the week before--162. But this morning I was 160.4, so I'll take it. Yeah, I know...weighing more than once a week. I like to keep track, though, to see how my body reacts to more sodium/less sodium, more water intake, exercise, etc. It helps me understand what works…
  • I saw the Insanity workouts on TV again this weekend, and I really want to get them!!!! Let us know if you like them!
  • Can't find the new thread....
  • I'm sorry that you've had a bad week as well, but it is good to know I'm not alone! Here's to a much better weekend and week ahead!!!!:drinker:

  • I agree. Neither "diet" is a healthy, long term way to lose weight and keep it off. That's what is so great about this site. It tells you how much you need of everything on a daily basis!
  • Which Turbo Jam video are you doing? I have a whole set that I got a few years ago, and it just depends on which one I do as to how I log it. If it's a Cardio party, fat blaster, something high energy, I log it as high impact aerobics. For the 3T and lower body jam, I log it as strength training. Of course, everyone on…
  • This has NOT been a good week for me as far as my food choices are concerned. Well, the meals themselves haven't been bad, just the lack of willpower--darn Valentine candy/strawberry cake/taco salad/well, you get the point. I'm starting over today slightly more determined to not make bad choices. I've done well up to this…
  • Oh yeah, and welcome!! These last 10ish pounds are killing me!!!
  • Great job!!! to everyone who weighed in today. My weigh in day is Friday, but I'm not expecting much this week. It's been a BAD week for cravings, and my will power is out the window :noway: . But today is a new day, and I've planned my menu so maybe today will be better (as long as no one brings me strawberry…
  • I've had a rough couple of days too. Craving chocolate!!!!!! That has not helped my calorie counting at all. At least I've still been getting in some good exercise, but I have definitely not been making good food choices in the last day or two...
  • I posted this before I realized we had a new thread... Hey everybody! I'm Mandy. After our son was born (our oldest), I joined the Wellness Center where I worked and lost weight and got into great shape (Body Pump and Body Step classes were great!!). When our second baby was born, she was in Arkansas Children's Hospital…

  • Good morning everyone! Just checking in! Not doing so great on my personal goal to watch my sodium this week! (Well, I guess technically I am watching it--watching the number go way up:laugh: ). But I'm doing great with my water and exercise. I've been doing my Turbo Jam videos, and I've found a few that I really…
  • Count me in! I'm on my last 10, and it's a much slower process than the rest!!
  • I'm here, too, and I've been reading the posts, I just haven't had anything to report so... I did successfully get my all my water in plus some every single day this week and exercised 6 days. My personal goal for this next week is to really watch my sodium intake and be under every day on it. Start weight: 176 Dec. 25:…
  • I agree. Eat a piece of pizza! One piece isn't going to kill your progress, and then eat lighter tonight. Our office ordered pizza last week for lunch, and I ate it...and man, was it good!! I am a big believer in moderation!! Guess it's worked so far--I've lost 32 pounds so far!!
  • I actually had this same issue come up a few weeks ago. I lost 3 pounds, and was able to keep about 1/2 of that off even after I rehydrated. Hope the same happens for you!! Good luck, and glad you feel better!
  • Haven't ever done BodyCombat, but sounds like fun! I have done BodyStep and BodyPump and love love love them both!!!
