Dear God, Please watch over Ed's doctors tomorrow and guide their hands as they remove his excess skin. Please also bring Ed (and his family) calming comfort tonight as he prepares for this next step in his healthier lifestyle and lead him through the next few weeks with as little pain as possible. You might also want to improve your breakfast choices. Make sure you include protein and fiber along with your carbs.

Sorry to hear about the comments. I agree with some others - keep your boundaries and let your sister know what she said to you was not appreciated and was insensitive. Not to mention plain ol' unhelpful. Good luck and keep focused for YOU.

Sure, I've lost track, too! The trick is to remind yourself why you want to lose the weight, forgive past mistakes, and start over tomorrow. If you're feeling hungry, try more protein and/or more water. Good luck - It's so worth it, right?!
