I just use the creamer. 10 calories per tub, 1 g fat. Unless you are drinking 1/2 c of that stuff in a day, you'll be fine. Try adding imitation vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc as well!

SO AGREE! Iv'e lost close to 100 and I feel/notice how people see me as a threat now. I was once the fat, unfit kid that everyone was friends with. Now I am an issue. I am fit, I am a runner, I look a lot more sexier (handsome, whatever), and I am very driven to do things. This all happened in 2 years. IN those years I…

1. Most people only hit the wall in an actual marathon, so just remember that once you start pushing yourself harder and harder, like a long runs, emotions are known to more easily come to the surface. I have almost cried at mile 25 in 2 of my marathons. 2. You will have MANY times of self doubt, I ran 4 fulls last year…

Yes. and no. Yes you can always say I ate over by 200 today, so I'll do 200 under tomorrow. But that's if you are staying in safe and good ranges...you're dipping below 1200 which is BAD. so NO and NO. eat more everyday before eating more just 1 day a week!

Stairs/bleachers will help a lot, also the fact that you lift and are in good shape will really help you. The more conditioned you are, the better you will be. Just remember when you attack the hills, most of the time there is a downhill, so don't go crazy and waste all your energy on getting up the hill in record time. A…

I started at 11 min pace...just over time I got faster and faster...and I can get down to a 8min pace for a 10 mile race now. It's crazy how far I've come and how far I have yet to go. Just keep on running. Long runs will be slower, don't worry. Work on those shorter 4-5 mile runs at a faster pace, try speed work at the…

I guess maybe that Friday night or Sunday night too if needed :)

are you in a calorie deficit? There is no 1 exercise that will eliminate belly fat. Just keep at doing full-body workouts to target every muscle group to bring down your body's overall fat %.

Diet is 90% of abs, exercise is 10%. Healthy diet full of fruits and veggies. It takes TIME.

True. Most of us gym-goers become quite narcissistic. But I do have a tendency to judge people while I'm on the elliptical. Mostly calling out the d-bags and the things that they do...not at all fat people working out...because that was me 2 years ago... But please, do NOT do the Thighmaster machine...you will draw…

Kids this young should not be worrying about the number on the scale...yes they need to be healthy, but that's too much for a little kid to worry about...just my opinion. I know how sports can be...

get an arm band...not a woman, but putting it in your bra is not good. Radio waves in the phone has been linked to small cases of breast cancer...same for men leaving phone in their pants pockets for prolonged periods of time.

oh I agree. I never learned how to swim, I taught myself. This is just a "fun" tri...I will have a true competition one in July/August. So hoping to do some swim lessons to learn to swim right...lol. Appreciate the feedback.

Not that I'd be getting a jacket fort 20 years or so, but I like last years (yellow and blue) a lot.

you've lost weight...so of course you have been in a deficit, so have I for the past 1.5 years and added muscle...but that muscle has been there, just not shining through and people can easily do that while losing weight. I have. So myth NOT debunked.

I don't know who the kid is, luckily for my roommate I am at work all day and all he got was a nasty WTF text from me...

Even if you're drunk, who steals a tupperware container of chicken, cauliflower, and stuffing? This is why I can't wait to live on my own again!

Typically 8 or 9 miles would of produced any issues if they were going to happen...but the best general rule to stick by is: NEVER wear anything new on race day. NO new clothes, shoes, underwear, etc... Once that issue starts, its going to be hell for 13.1 or 26.2

Thanks everyone - Honest to God, my time was 3:59:59. I was overwhelmed with joy. It was an amazing race!

That wasn't my best 1/2 time for sure. I paced a friend the first 8 miles at a 2:00 goal, then he decided he didn't want that goal anymore so I picked it up, a lot. I knew that would draw some concerns, which you picked up on, therefore I'm not too worried. For me, I am in agony at 21 usually, so picking it up is harder…

So far I love both the half and full. For the half, I can really push myself hard with less sacrifice and less option to fail since it is the shorter distance, so it is easier to go for a better time. For the marathon, I love the long journey, the challenge, the people you meet, the whole thing is usually a great…

I have often had 4 mile runs that went really slow and felt like hell. It's all part of running and recovery.
