Me too! I have been hovering around the same two pounds for three weeks, and I'm soooo over it! I'm ready to see a good loss this week...hoping for two pounds...we'll see!

I'm also a fan of mini-challenges! This week, I'm trying to work out every day, Monday-Saturday. I've been letting myself be pretty lazy the past few weeks, so I'm hoping to make my body wake up and remember what it's like to be active this week. :) I did body pump yesterday, I run today, and then body pump tomorrow and…

Hi everyone, A little late to update the spreadsheet, but I am SO ready for this challenge. I've had a rough few weeks, motivation-wise, and I'm hoping this will give me the little push I need to get back to it! I'm running my first 5k in 26 days! Yikes. :)

Thanks! i think I'm going to bite the bullet and get it...mostly because I love gadgets and can't stand the idea of not having all those fun features. :)

Hello! My name is also Melissa. I'm excited that I found this challenge, because St. Patrick's Day weekend is my first 5k. I'm hoping this will help keep me motivated as I try to make as much progress as I can before then. I've been on MFP for about 6 months and had been doing great, and then had a rather disappointing…

I'm a baker too! It relaxes me. It's stress relief. I tried to not bake and it made me feel a little empty inside. I bake and take it to work so I won't eat it all myself. :) Bake on!

It only hurts when I put weight on it. It hurts more when I first put pressure on it, and pretty much completely goes away when the pressure is released. There is no area of my heel where pushing causes pain. Icing helped numb the pain, but as soon as everything warmed up, I was feeling the same pain when I walked.

For a long time, i would do two or three tablespoons of hummus and a huge bag of chopped veggies for lunch. It's really amazing how quickly it filled me up! I did get kind of bored with the same thing day in and day out, so I started mixing it up a little. Lately, I've been doing a 2oz chicken breast, 1/2 cup Uncle Ben's…

I use a deep conditioner once a week (never the same brand, just whatever looks interesting in the haircare aisle), but I also do a couple things on a daily basis. After I wash and condition my hair in the shower, I spray on a leave-in conditioner and let my hair air dry as long as possible. Depending on the condition of…

I'm the same way! I made it all the way to Week 7 once and then stopped. I am getting ready to finish up Week 6 again this time around, so I'm really hoping to keep pushing through to the end!

Today I love that I am finally starting to notice the changes in my body. I look in the mirror and can finally see the smaller person that's there...instead of seeing the person that was there four months ago.

I love that I cleaned out my closet this week and got rid of THREE garbage bags full of stuff that I'll never wear again...because it's all too BIG. Yay!
-
I love that I am running again.

Had the day off yesterday, so I just sat down and finished it. :)

I really like my twisted sense of humor. :)

I'm getting ready to do Week 6, Day 2 tomorrow. It almost doesn't seem possible that I've been doing it for so long! I won't say that I LIKE running now, but I certainly don't mind it, and I like it better than some of the other things I've tried. ;) Good luck!

I really like that I've found a way to get past the small hurdles in my path. Ordinarily, I would have given up about six times in the past four months. But I'm still here, and feeling stronger for it.

SW: 233.8 CW: 226.0 Honestly, I almost cried when I stepped on the scale. That loss isn't really the whole story...after Christmas when I weighed myself, I had "gained" three pounds. I was in a fragile mental place, and that 3lbs, even though rationally I knew it wasn't "real" weight and was mostly water weight, still…

I was wondering about that, but way to lazy to google it and find out. ;)

Let's just say I'm ready for next week's challenge! I didn't think the no soda thing would be that hard for me, but it's crazy how once I said I wasn't going to have it, all of a sudden that's all I wanted! Grr...

Hey guys, it's been a hell of a week, so I'm sorry that I was late with my starting stats! Weight: 233.8lbs Neck-14" Arm-16.25" Bust-43.25" Chest-38" Waist-40" Belly-46.25" Hips-46.5" Thigh-28.75" Calf-17.5" I took before pics, but I'll probably wait to share them until I can post some "afters" too! :)

Had a soda today...without even realizing what I was doing! I went through the drive thru, ordered a diet coke w/o thinking about it and didn't even realize I had ruined my challenge until it was gone! Grrrrrr.

I just finally downloaded it to my nook today. Haven't made it more than 30 pages in, but so far I'm intrigued. I do really like the writing style too. Very readable and very interesting.

My biggest hobby is reading. I love it. I also love movies...and I'm trying to make exercise a hobby, but I haven't quite gotten there! :)
-
I love Leslie Sansone! Her DVDs are a great way to get low-impact cardio in. It's great that you're starting small. You'll be doing miles in no time! ;)
-
I am starting Tracy Anderson's Metamorphosis program this week. I did Day 1 Wednesday night, and took yesterday as a rest day b/c I was sore! My goal is to do it Fri, Sat, and Sun before taking another rest day. I'm also trying to do Week 5 of C25k.
-
Great idea to get us started!! I'll also be giving up soda for the week!
-
I can't vouch for Alli, but I can certainly vouch for this.
-
Oh, the suspense! I'm excited to head over to the bookstore tomorrow either way. :)

I vote for Mr. Prenumbra's. Sorry I'm a bit delayed in responding...my family didn't celebrate the holiday until late this week so everything has been kind of out-of-whack.
