Sounds good. Thanks :)

Yes, you can :) I do the same. I've made an exercise called "Bodybugg" which I set to burn 1kcal/minute and then I just add the amount on "minutes" to get the number from my bodybug/modymedia fit so that I can see the deficit easier.

Yes, EvilMomma is wise. Maybe try to set goals with shorter time lines. Daily goals - weekly goals? I know for me when I start with the "I have to lose A HUGE AMOUNT" or "I want to run 10K" or "This week is going to be PERFECT and I'll do everything absolutely right!" my brain goes. "HOKAY! I'm on it. Lets do this NOW!"…

Hm, that's a good idea! It works when running, so why not at home. I think I'll give that a try with Physics of the impossible. Thanks!

I was gonna say - I do that with my 9 y.o! Well, not those exact things, but she rides piggy back (is that how you say it in English?) and I walk/jog in intervals. Sometimes I do lunges too, but I can only do 2 so far without falling over xD

Thanks guys :) I have been doing stronglifts, so I'll stick with that. I've just done say all the squatting and half the bench for example, before wandering on :P Perhaps I should try to get a friend or the kids to work out with me and drag me back to the weights. And yes, I do have ADD heh. For some reason it's been…

<3 Falafel is the yummiest. Here's the recipe I use after trying loads: http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=8615.msg506330#msg506330 (warning though, vegweb hasn't been stable lately and sometimes give a malware warning. It's fine atm.) Another thing I love is chick pea tacos. Just "mush" the beans a little and fry them with…

Bump for posterity.

Thanks! This was great. I made it today with Polish cottage cheese/quark or Twarog instead of ordinary C.H, spinach and tuna. It was a tad bit tart but yummy! And very filling.

I was going to say more water :) Also, maybe eat some iron supplement for a while, like Blutsaft or what is available where you are? I easily get low iron levels (which, if you get it checked -dehydration can give you incorrect higher numbers, I was told), especially when lowering my calories and in Spring for some reason.

There's a guy who has developed a free java script for the bodymedia and bodybugg, for those who have run out of their subscription. I've found it gives the same numbers. He's on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/124814374205032/

*hugs* That must be both mentally and physically exhausting. How scary for you and your dad! I hope for his quick recovery and that you can rest.

This is actually a quite fascinating (to me anyway :P) internet phenomenon. Life on communities and forums follow this cycle that have many similarities with "real life" but it moves much faster. Coming to a forum like this for example, is for some people a bit like meeting a great girl or guy and falling head over heels.…

The first thing that comes to mind are fats and more calorie dense foods like avocado, fat fish like mackerel and salmon. Do you have any restrictions when it comes to that?
-
For you with Body media or bodybuggs there's a free "program" you can use. I use it and it doesn't differ from the numbers on the actual site. (I can't even renew my subscription even if I want to, since they won't take payments from outside of the US :P) The facebook group with all the info is here…

After checking your shoes etc, also see if you might perhaps need to work on strengthening your core muscles? (abs.) I get more back pains when my core is out of shape as I tend to "swank" more and don't have the ab strength to keep a good posture.

I find that giving my body the reward feeling it needs from somewhere "real" instead of food really helps. Do the C25K first thing in the morning or something else that really gets your heart pumping and your endorfines flowing, maybe add some intervals (can be really small!) to your walk and run. You're not physically…

Being "tight" in the lower legs can also contribute according to my orthotist husband. Stretch your feet and legs through often. I have a similar problem but on the side of my foot. My calfs are super tight and it spreads down. Also, remember that if you're a bit heavy and your feet are not used to the impact, it takes a…
