I really like the recipe analyzer here caloriecount.com/cc/recipe_analysis.php. Once you've entered all the ingredients you can choose to see the calorie amount for different measurements, including 100g.

Welcome! It's a good place to figure yourself out when it comes to weight issues. Feel free to add me if you want friends on here. I'm back again after an injury hiatus. :) I'm a mum of three too.

Hey, thanks for linking this! It looks awesome.

I hope you've had your Snickers Bar and that it was lovely :) They're the Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse!

Scandinavian living in Ireland here :) Feel free to add me!

I second (third, fourthd?) Couch to 5 k or any similar programmes. There are good, free apps too. If you're on android, one example is "Simple C25K" which is what my kids are using now. I was like you, first time I started running (a few years ago) I thought I'd die after 40 seconds (yeah...). It even took me a couple of…

I got the same blank screen. Also, as others have pointed out too, when entering food into my diary, the frequent tab is missing and my recent tab is listing very old food entries (from before Christmas). Attaching print screen of that at bottom of post. Looks great otherwise. Very clean design :) MsDandimite - Galaxy Note…

The img needs to be in lower case :) Well done! You look great ^^

Bump for saving

This is all basic budgeting 101, so I dunno if it's redundant, but since it really helped our family was to first figure out where the money was going as exactly as we could (yeah, basic, I know :) ) I saved every. single. receipt for 6 months and spent about 5-10 minutes a day by the computer entering it in to an excel…

Greetings! My real name is not Molly, but it will have to do. :) My super powers are: According to my kids and the kids in the school library - I've mastered the mum glare. It stops any misbehaviour in its track. According to my husband - I never grow up (yay!) According to my friends - I have awesome google fu. Secretly,…

I've a girl crush on Thursday Next (from Jasper Fforde's books.) Sam, from LOTR. :3 Most favourite atm though is Captain Bluebear. He kicks butt.

This. Such a moving story. It's been 5 years since I last read it and I still think about it at least once a week.

I wanted to be an author, a private detective and an Avenger! Right now I'm (still) a student, part time graphic and web designer, aspiring writer and still hoping for S.H.I.E.L.D to realise there's a great void in their super hero team that can only be filled by me <.<

It's an enormous deal! Way to go :) You've done awesomely ^_^

Red Dwarf <3. Nothing fills my motherly heart with more pride than when my kids tell me their agenda for the day and then end it with "it's me plan". Can't wait for next week.

Please do! I remember it as faster (And thought, gimme some of that serum). Not that any super hero universe has ever been too occupied with logic and stuff :P I'm just excited someone else has thought of it. I tried to raise a discussion with some friends and got the o.o and then the z.z

Aha! Maybe it's just translated into faster in the subs. That makes more sense.

So this is where you all hang! *Carlton dance* Already have gse313 as an awesome friend. Feel free to add me, anyone, if you so wish. :) Since I've found you, my fellow geeks and nerds, and we're on a kcal counting site, I have a question I've been pondering over. In the film it's mentioned that Capt. America's metabolism…

They are very filling. ;) I'm having the same atm. Teach him to bake good bread, that's what I'm trying to do. :) Egg sandwiches are cheap and filling. I also taught my son to make protein (whey) shakes with added greens and fruit for when he's ravenous. They seem to fill him up well.

PODing checking or trying some Iron supplement. There are some good, fluid ones that are fruit and plant based. Check Holland and Barret's or any other health shop. Low levels of D-vitamin can also cause fatigue and an overall feeling of "blehness" (+ muscles weakness and pain). We're not exactly blessed with an aboundance…

I would say you're seeing a parenting problem and not an xbox problem. Edit to elaborate: It's too easy to blame inactivity and other things on inanimate objects. Yes, games can make kids (and adults) passive as they provide a false sense of achievement, but that happens on whatever console they're on. We own heeps of…

Very interesting! Could one give the same doses of probiotics to children (9+)? (many, many antiobiotics have put their tummies out of whack)

Turn it back on them. Put on your best distressed look and tell them how worried you are about them since they keep bringing up the same subject every time even though every one else can clearly see how you have a perfectly healthy body and you've asked them to stop. Their obvious lost grasp of reality is worrying, clearly…

Red Dwarf is awesomeness. :3

I wish there were magical words that we strangers could offer you that would instantly heal you and mend your soul. As you see, so many of us have struggled or are still struggling with anxiety, depression or other soul and self crushing things. Desperation is a good thing, even though it hurts and is confusing. It usually…

I have the one from Tesco for about €29.90 or so. It's doing its job quite nicely for me. It has zones and tells you the calorie burn.
-
Please remember that even if you would "only" manage to get rid of, say, 70 lbs or even 50lbs you will still feel much better and look slimmer than now. It's so easy to fall in to the trap of focusing on a magic number as an ultimate goal where you will look great and when that weight is paired with a time limit that…
