I've had IBS as long as i can remember. I changed to an wheat, egg, dairy (and various other) free diet beginning of this year and its made a HUGE improvement. I still slip up now and again, but i suffer for it when i do something rotten

no need to apologize hun. try and set yourself some small goals at first and you'll do fine i'm sure =)

I have to have dairy free everything, or lactose free milk and cheese. Even a small square of normal chocolate can affect me within 10mins depending how i'm feeling. Then other days its not as bad. Silly question but is your lactose intollerance linked to anything? I have bad IBS and wheat, egg and dairy set it off…

you can def do this hun, with some support i think you'll reach your goal cause you certainly have the mindset for it. I've been in your shoes after so many failed weight loss attempts i've lost count. And i've also cried in shops when nothing fits me. Its a truelly awful feeling, especially when you have skinny friends…

i looked at it the other day too see what all the fuss was about. Can't do it myself because of my disability, but it does look interesting and people seem to get results. Maybe give it another go and if your still not comfortable after a week or so it probably isn't for you

Not really sure how i can do that as i have a REALLY restrictive diet. I do go to a dietician who overseas everything i do, so i'm not doing this on my own. Have real problems with citrus fruits, wheat, egg, dairy, fruit juices and some veggies, they really upset my stomach.

i wouldnt worry what MFP says too much i'm usually 800 down on calories if i exercise, and im eating around 1300 a day, it complains i dont eat enough but im always full. if your really worried see your gp or a dietician, it helped me. plus if you exercise loads you'll put on muscle which can put weight on as well
