It's probably showing you your BMR as well which is basically what your body burns by just being alive. I've done no exercise today but my calories burnt are 1,744 because that's my BMR

I did an experiment over the weekend. For the past few weeks I've been eating under 1,900 calories (1,300-1,800) and loosing nothing. So I ate up to or over 1,900 calories this weekend and I've lost 2lb this morning

So if I use a 125ml measuring cup for milk for cereal and it weighs as less or more then that's the number I put in the diary not the cup. I use it as an estimate not the final figure

I do use a food scale. I measure everything INCLUDING the measuring cups and they are generally the same and if not I account for this when I add them to my diary

It could be water weight, it's odd to have such a signification change in weight in such a small time without it being water weight really. Is there no way of having a smaller portion or working it into your weekly calories? I have the same problem when i visit family. They don't put weight on so eat whatever they want, whereas i have to be really careful. I normally end up working it into my calories or just having a cheat weekend and dealing with it…

I have a terrible time eating 1000 cals some days. I just don't get hungry most days it's a real problem and no one can tell why i'm like it. I'm 16 stone but i only get hungry once a day, if i try and eat before i'm hungry or snack i end up being sick. Yet i'm still fat!
