Hello All, I had bypass surgery appox 2 1/2 yrs ago. I lost 115lbs and kept off for 2 yrs. I stopped logging 6 mths ago and have since put back on 15lbs. So I am back to logging. Feel free to add me as a friend, I have been through this and happy to answer any questions to the best of my knowledge and experience.

I totally agree, hapiness is a state of mind, it is all in your pespective not circumstances. You need to change up your attitude, there is no point in being miserable! Start having gratitude for the many blessing you no doubt have all around you.

Thanks, best of luck to you, it is exciting to see the weight loss. I go through clothes fairly quickly, so I try not to buy anything too pricey as I will only be in them 1 month the most. Clearance will become your best friend.

If your knees are bad you may want to try water aerobics. I go once a week and really enjoy it, good to mix it up a bit.

Body fat is the best measurement. Because we can all guess at our frames and how much muscle we have but that is subjective. And BMI doesn't consider any of that. Are you eating the recommended calorie amount for your body weight? That could make a big difference! I know when I eat just 200 more calories I don't seem to lose anything.
