  • What an amazing story! So very happy and proud for you! Your daughter will be happy that she will have her daddy there for a long time. I had a similar epiphany in my journey. Ive been frustrated for years and finally that day came. Im tired of this weight, I dont want to be this heavy, I want t be healthy. 30 days ago I…
  • Honey Mustard is my all time fav. And Hellmans Mayo (NOT the lowfat stuff.) in severe moderation only.
  • How about the prepackaged popcorn balls? They are alot healthier than candy. • Omg yes!! Our house has 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms with a tiny galley size kitchen. Its impossible to cook in there and Im always playing "shift the crap from one counter to the next" just to get a meal done. And when I bring it up, I'm immediately called a B*tch! I hear ya, it brings me to tears sometimes too. I cant…
  • Watched it for 5 minutes and felt my IQ dropping. Ugh.. It's sad that this is what television is evolving to.
  • Ive counted it recently because i really work up a sweat trying to scrub that grout! Im sure you will get mixed answers on it though. I too have "sedentary" as my active level because i have a 40hr desk job.
  • Im very safe when it comes to the gym. What i mean by that is I wear a short sleeved v-neck shirt. Usually blue or black and I have blue or black sweatpant/athletic pant bottoms. I still have the unsightly rolls in the midsection and as I dont like looking at them, Im sure the rest of the gym doesnt want to see them…
  • I'm sure I will run into my ex sometime as I'm still good friends with his family. He may say something but him being selfish is the reason why I left him in the first place so I don't really care if he does. I know I will look good once i hit my goal weight and cant wait for that day.
  • I will be 32 at the end of the year and currently single. No kids and no boyfriend. Right now I'm uncertain of what i want in life. Only thing I do know is I want to be healthy to be here longer. Because of my scenario, i don't want kids. Its getting late for me and my financial and housing situation does not work for it.…
  • I too end up running to the bathroom at least 2-3 times a night. But i guess I would rather be doing that and to have optimized hydration. Ive felt such a difference since i cut out soda, sweet tea and other drinks from my daily eating plans.
  • I like the Veggie Straws from Walmart and Special K Cracker Chips. The Quaker Quakes 90 calorie rice cake bags are awesome as well. They come in 6 different flavors from salty to sweet.
  • Welcome!! I started MFP almost a month ago and have already lost 14 lbs. This is a wonderful environment and place to be to stay motivated. My goal is to be around 170ish or wherever I feel the most comfortable. Either way, I want to be in ONE-derland sometime in the next six months to a year. Im always looking for more…
  • It would be no different than what i speak. I always speak my mind and sometimes people just don't like to hear it. Don't get me wrong I can be a very happy person but if something bugs me, it will be known.
  • Im a transplanted northerner. LOL Born and raised in PA, but moved to Central Florida (Space Coast) in 1998. been here ever since.
  • I was in a rut this last week but it was because of TOM. Then my cat had surgery so I stayed in to keep an eye on him. Then I had housework to do and then some shopping so i logged the walking from that. I can sympathize. Part of it is life getting in the way and the rest is "well" i can do it the next day. Set some time,…
  • I lost my sister to a car accident when I was 17. Then in a whirlwind move 2 weeks later I was relocated to another state, new school, no friends and no car. I was lonely and depressed and ate to feel better. Fast forward about a year and I had decided to move away with a new boyfriend. Money was tight and I found myself…
  • I started out by going to the gym. It can be intimidating, trust me. But the more you go, the more at home you feel. I realized that everyone there is very polite but at the same time they are in their own world with their music/earbuds and just ready to be fit and healthy. As for my workouts, I stick to the treadmill and…
  • Been single for close to 4 years now. Cant say that its all been fun but most times I embrace it. Plus there arent many guys in my area that are looking for more than just a one night stand. :indifferent: Lately Ive developed this "if it happens so be it" mentality. Plus Im finally taking care of myself so dont really know…
  • LOL Wow that was one hell of a leap. My hypothetical was to show a point that rather than assume that this action is an attack on our level of control it is purely an action to educate and advise that quantities of a certain product are not healthy and are deemed bad. Why is everyone jumping leaps from my original…
  • True and yet most adults act like children. Stubborn and uncaring of our actions no matter what the consequences. Think what you will but I don't believe its going to start riots.
  • My reasoning is flawed? Part of my reasoning is fact! Go to a Mcdonald's and try to supersize it. Not only was it banned in the US it is banned worldwide. No Im not the master of all *things* healthy. Thats why Im on here...Im choosing to make a change. I stopped drinking soda completely. Our entire life of decision making…
  • I have plans to catch up on my laundry, clean my room a bit and definitely get a few workouts in. I will be at home mostly so i can control what i eat and when i eat. I may go to a movie but plan on sneaking in some of my healthy treats in my purse or just portioning out the bad ones so Im not tempted to go overboard on…
  • http://www.cafepress.com/extrememakeoverweightlossedition.570957610 I just bought this one from walmart and love it. 3 different workouts. 15 min, 25 min, and 30 mins. There are several segments from floor to standing but they are never jumping around. The soothing and supportive voice of Chris Powell is nice too.
  • Omg, I cannot stand when people use "Yall". Its a southern thing and with me being from the north, it doesnt exist. Its like nails on a chalkboard every single time I hear it. Just say you or you all! Another one that "grinds my gears" is when people call it expresso. It is ESPRESSO. There is no X!
  • Hard to say when speculating on the whereabouts of people. Add some new ones that can use your awesome motivation and knowledge.
  • For me its chocolate and salty snacks. So far Ive been good to stay within my calorie limits. I buy the bars of Dove dark chocolate so I can break off the individual squares and have them here and there. It usually works to curb the craving. I know I will be hitting the gym to try to work off the 5lbs of water weight gain…
  • I used to warn my BF when I had one when it was coming. Im no longer with him and am currently staying with family. BUT im courteous to notify them as well. I currently reside with my aunt. But my mother and brother also live there. I tend to stay in my room and keep communication to a minimum. Do you find that everything…
  • Ive only been on MFP for 25 days and this is my first TOM that im recording and dealing with during my weight loss tracking. I lost 14lbs and then gained back 5 due to water weight. Im hoping that I will shed that and plus some but time will tell. Sorry to hear you are frustrated. Its totally not fair. Losing weight can be…
  • I got my TOM on Monday of this week and only found myself working out once. I'm wondering if its just more than PMS? I'm irritable, *****y, and just want to be left alone. It takes over 1800mg of a pain reliever to dull the cramps. Oh and that saying that working out decreases the severity of cramps? Not for me! After an…
