I gave up on donuts. I love them but they are not a good thing to have around. Ill eat the whole box!

I am praying for all of the families who had destruction from all of those storms and tornado s. It reminds us to not focus on material things - they can be gone in a second - but live each day for HIS glory - he takes care of all of our needs - even in the midst of those storms.

I have not personally taken them - but several of my friends have taken diet pills and have lost weight on them. The problem is that when they quit taking them - they regain ALL of their weight back in a very short amount of time. I suggest taht you DO NOT take them. Slowly and surely is always best.

I have insulin reistance and a metabolic disorder. I am having lots of trouble losing also. I am going to try the higher protein and low carbs and we will see what will happen. Keep your fingers crossed for me. :)

Well, I weighed myself and didn't lose anything. I worked out hard today - so maybe I can lose some next week. - we are finally on spring break - so I hope to work out almost every day at the gym. Ate a little bit earlier today so I could splurge at Olive Garden. It was delicious. Maybe this week will be better.

Started Spring Break today at 4pm (finsihed faculty senate at 3:30pm - unplugged everything and locked the door and ran to the car. Yay - I've been waiting months for this. :)

will weigh tomorrow - saturday. Too late tonight - been a long day. As for my metabolic disorder the medicine i was prescribed (for it and my insulin resisitance) messed with my b vitamin absorption. So I quit taking (metformin) and now have to take mediciane for my vit. B deficincy. Some times it never ends :)

That's fantastic Mary! way to keep being awesome!!!!! I lost 1/2 of a pound. At least it is a loss. I think my metabolic disorder hates me. I am trying harder than I ever have and it is SLOWLY coming off. It is so frustrating.

I love the fiber plus bars for breakfast and there is also a fiber one yogurt. They are delicious! And they work well too!!!:blushing:

Yes that sounds good. I've been trying to do better on my water. So this will reinforce my goals. I have some wii stuff that I haven't tried yet. (Been kinda scared to get my butt kicked) But I will try and do one this week. Good luck on your week, too :flowerforyou:

I agree with the others ---drink water before the meal --- add protein - nix excess carbs --- also fiber is filling - so maybe some food with lots of fiber. Good luck

Had a terrible day at work - will weigh on Saturday. I didn't even get a chance to breathe today -- will do it tomorrow. Promise! Lisa Congrats on the loss - slowly and surely wins the race! (Plus makes it stay off!!)

I have a little terrier mix that I rescued from the local dog pound. Her name is Sunshine and she is about 1 years old. I am working on my IEPs for next year and also getting ready for our state wide testing. I am having issues with a fellow teacher that is on permit and has no experience, yet thinks that they are an expert. When it rains, it pours! I will be glad when it is time for our spring break at the end of April. I need a break!

LJ0125 How many kids do you have in your class? Do you have an aide? I have 9 - 12 th graders in my classroom. I am also self contained. I have the MMI/Autism students. Lots of fun!:smile:

I've been bad too since I am sick this week. I normally do 120 minutes, I will try to do 125. I 've only exercised once this week so far so I will have to step it up tomorrow and Saturday. Thanks for the challenge - it helps me to try to do more. I've been wanting to cut down on my carbs - maybe a challenge in the future…

Men ,who have high blood pressure, have to be careful because their pressure is naturally higher in the morning. So if you "exercise" repeatedly in the morning = some men have a heart attack. Whatever - don't know if I really believe it.
