  • Yesterday was a bad day, cookies at work turned into 6 cookies at work and then major snacking when I got home from work. I was so excited to have a good day on Monday (start of the New Year) but then Tuesday fell apart hard. I know the night part was me beating myself up even though I was trying to be really hard not to…

  • Last week was a great week with seeing the scale move as it should, getting in more exercise than I though I could and just having an overall great week. Then Friday came, a fight with my hubby, then made up on Saturday but it was time for weekend eating issues, ugh. Now I am at Monday and feel bloated and large and up…
  • @VickyEltonGreen You are SOOOO not alone. I am 39 and have dieted for 29 years. My weight has been up and down, but until now (which is still a continuing battle) I haven't really focused on real lifestyle changes in my head. The food is such a small part of all of this, it is the brain that needs to change. I have had…
  • @changeforeverlj Hugs and love. You are right food will not fix this, self love and care will. If you need extra rest, then rest. As with all things, this too shall pass.
  • You are not alone anymore dear. This group is a wonderful community to lean on. When I start struggling or the voices get too loud I vent random some on here and realize everyone else has the same problems and it helps so much. Hang in there.

  • Thank you all for the wonderful posts. I love scrolling through the wall to see how everyone is doing and handling different situations in life. Everyone is so inspiring. It is so good to see how people adjust their focuses on different aspects of healthy living in order to reach their weight loss goals. Recently I have…
  • @holdthefries I love this. I completely understand and right there with you. We can do this with each other encouragement.

  • I had a great Thanksgiving day with our bubble and didn't have too many left overs left (ensuring I am looking at the positives too). I did eat more than I should have but wanted to just enjoy and not stress myself out with worry about food and logging. The rest of the weekend was just having leftovers and getting back to…

  • I have had a pretty good week so far. We will see what tomorrow's weigh in brings but have been keeping my calories low and exercise high this week to get ready for Thanksgiving. I guess you could call it a NSV to know how healthy I have eaten the last 2 day and have felt really good. Just proves that I can eat healthy,…
  • @goal06082021 You could have written my story, minus the lowest adult weight portion since I haven't been able to get out of the 200's in my adult life. We can do this with each other's support. Good for you to get up and get moving in the morning. I'm working on the same thing as well. I work 2nd shift so usually get up…

  • I know exactly how you feel. I notice that when I have just a few minutes between project A and B I find myself wandering into the kitchen to grab a handful or almonds or a spoonful of cool whip or peanut butter. Those are my sticking points because even when I track everything I eat, I don't always track those and those…
  • Random thoughts warning... So I was driving home from work tonight thinking about how weight loss can be such a struggle sometimes because of all the things that are out of our control, hormones (TOM), cravings, nutritional needs, health needs, etc. etc. etc. etc. (not sure there could be enough etc., lol). It is such a…
  • I don't really have anything much to say today but wanted to at least check in and tell everyone they are DOING AWESOME, and if you don't feel like you are remember, you are on here so that is commitment to the life you want to lead so you are winning just for that.
  • This is the time that I struggle and the urge to give up gets so strong. It is TOM so the scale isn't going to move an all I want to do is eat all the chocolate made in my world and the scale will just by pounds (plural), even if I do my very best to eat just want I should and exercise my butt off. UGH!!!. I didn't have…
  • I HIGHLY recommend doing a Chicken pizza crust. My recipe calls for ground chicken, mozzarella and Italian seasoning for the "crust". It is AMAZING and when you add marinara and toppings it tastes just like a pizza. Tons of protein and easy to adjust the calories with the toppings.
  • Really random thoughts going through my head right now. My husband is out of town for a long weekend to see his mom and one of the first things that ran through my head was "what can I eat while he is gone?" That is something that I need to curb quick, this isn't a vacation from someone I need to prove myself to, it is…
  • You are NOT alone, I feel your pain and have lived through it. Hang in there and keep fighting.

  • Today was the first "normal" day back from a long weekend at my parents' house. The traveling took a toll on my focus but I didn't do too bad. I'm thrilled that today was a good day, without any cravings that I had to fight to resist. That is usually the drawback from unfocused snacking, a few days to a week of fighting…
  • WAY TO GO!!! 9lbs in 6 weeks is totally doable. You got this.
  • Struggle seems to be the current situation with a lot of us right now. I know I can keep going and not let the possible set back from this weekend cause me any real damage. Slow and steady progress for everyday. Keeping the exercise and stretching going to be strong and healthy. That is the main reason for this.
  • @changeforeverlj and @anita2422 Hang in there and know that we are rooting for you. I have been struggling and struggling, but it is about not quitting and leaning on each other for good vibes and encouragement. Rely on the process. Know that our bodies will catch up to the work we are putting into it.
