  • Years and years ago, my sister and I tried to smuggle in a smoothie. It dropped in the front entrance of the theatre. Quite embarassing (and dumb of us!) LIke others, I will bring my own snacks! Can't justify the prices or the calories with buying food at t he theatre--the tickets are bad enough!

  • This was week four of my latest go round with MFP. This is the longest I have logged and stayed with it! Although I barely lost, I count it as a victory that I didn't go off the rails given that three of the seven days I completely went over my calories by large amounts! Next week, I start working out with a trainer.…

  • I'm attending a March wedding in Kerala. Would be nice to wear a sari with a toned stomach!
  • I am in! 5ft 1 tall here. SW: 140 CW: 130.8 GW: 115 NSVG (Non scale victory goal): Exercise three times per week this month! Weighing in on Sundays. We've got this!
  • From a fellow marcher (D.C.), congrats--I bet it felt awesome!
  • Made it to gym for first time in months this am! Rejoined MFP last week. Focused on logging foods and drinking water last week; feels good to add the gym back to the journey!
  • Weighing myself at night, not liking the result--but choosing to drink water and go to bed without sabotaging myself by eating rubbish. In the morning, the scale was where it should be!
  • Four days of logging and drinking my water!
  • Said no to ordering out last night (after I had already logged and eaten dinner) when feeling down/bored and had a lower choice food option instead as an evening snack!
  • Please add me if the invitation is still open!
  • Good job :-) Keep it up!
  • I work at a university and was stood up twice in one week by a co-worker who I said I would jump rope with. (I even bought him a rope!) Even though I was stood up by him (he showed up before work in his suit while I was dressed in my workout clothes), I still snuck into an empty classroom and put in a quick jump rope…
  • 'Leonardo leads, Donatello does machines.' My two faves.
  • CW:128 GW:125 for April April 1 - 130.2 pounds April 5 - 128.0 pounds Total lost: 2.2 pounds What I did right: exercised and ate pretty well!
  • I consider myself a volume eater and it is rare that things fill me up, so things like cheesecake which are obviously not meant to be consumed in large portions are not usually the best options for me (hence the need to avoid completely when possible). Maybe my eyes are just bigger than my stomach and I am clearly not…
  • I will try and eat it in a limited portion. However, even then it is a risky proposition since one not great food choice can quickly lead to ruin!
  • I avoid it altogether. My history has shown if the entire cheesecake, bag of popcorn or whatever is there, I will go back until it is finished. It is almost like a competitive sport. Therefore, for me, I take out the temptation altogether.
  • Went on a five day trip to Vegas with my sister and did a decent amount of research on best Las Vegas buffets to sample. When I got there (Bacchanal at Caesars Palace and Bellagio), I did not do the food justice (particularly the desserts and meats). I managed to actually lose a couple of pounds in Vegas (thanks to walking…
  • Definitely orange juice--used to be able to drink a carton of it a day. What a rude awakening a couple of years ago to realize how teeth rotting and weight additive it was! Definitely not worth it--also, to echo what others have said, drinking calories for me is simply not satisfying. Also, I love nuts, but I don't feel…

  • Paid money for twelve sessions with a personal trainer. Nothing motivates you like the sound of money flying from your pocket!
  • -I've been to countries on five of seven continents (Australia and and Antarctica to go!) -Love superhero cartoons and movies, as child and still as an adult -Once got to pet a baby lion (South Africa) and stand beside a full grown alligator up close (New Orleans)
  • Now that the Ravens won the Superbowl (I'm actually happy for them), the Redskins will have to show them who's top top dog in DC/MD/VA! Glad to hear RG3 is recovering ahead of schedule. Hoping we can shore up our secondary with some decent safeties in the draft.
  • Pretty much sums it up.
  • Had a great Thanksgiving--thank you 'skins!
