Also worth noting, are your clothes more snug, the same, or looser? Because muscle is more dense than fat. So you could be gaining weight, but losing fat. Or as was said above, you could be retaining water. Maybe your focus should be on getting and keeping physically fit?

Honestly - if you're looking for the protein, get a good protein powder. Or add peanut butter, or beans? I guess I wonder: why waste a good piece of chicken (that you could have at home for dinner, maybe?) when there are so many other ways to get fat and protein.

I have had long and short hair at different points. I chopped off my hair after finishing massage school and have not had it long enough to need to be pulled back since. But I am growing mine back out because... why not? Point is, I guess, that hair grows. If you chop it off (and can donate it, you should!) and hate it -…

Haha - this. I already started blocking posts from friends I otherwise like when the last presidential election season came through. I also block religious ranting. And excessive selfies. Why wouldn't I block posts from people trying to sell me stuff?

Are these men that you also know their wives? Cause that's even skeezier. >.>

^This.^ Also note that what people do and what works do not always align. Previous poster said that you continue to burn calories for up to 48 hours after strength training. I concur, and add that it is shows more results if you lift to failure. Weight training builds muscle - muscle burns more fat than fat does. :-P…

No way are freckles ugly. I have them everywhere that I get sun, and my boyfriend thinks they're adorable. :D

I had a trainer tell me essentially that. But the extra calories of a "cheat day" can actually help with a spike in metabolism. Plus, every once in a while, having that guilty pleasure helps one to maintain a healthier diet. Don't be so harsh.

Honest to god, that's what I'm really hoping for.
-
Agreed. Who are you yelling at?

I really like Mio! The energy Mio and the Mio fit. :D

Shop for clothes at thrift stores and find the good stuff, not the old lady stuff.

Adventure Time. Hands down.

BWAHAHAHA! You know - I am an atheist and no one has so much as whispered to me about it on this site. Then again - not overly active in forums. :D

This sounds yummy! Also - do you find that the pb2 is a good version of peanut butter? Do you just use it on recipes or do you rehydrate it for spreading too?
-
To be fair - those result from lack of calcium, not dairy specifically. AND you need additional vitamins to ABSORB the calcium. Don't get me wrong, I love dairy. I don't really intend to give it up in my quest to lose weight/get healthy, but dairy isn't the only way to get calcium. Another note: humans are the only species…

Definitely this! I got a cookbook for Christmas that is chock FULL of recipes for healthier versions of comfort foods. From the homemade microwave popcorn with significantly less oil and "seasoning" to the amazing blueberry muffins that are bursting with blueberries and low in fat and calories because of natural…

lol! I didn't even catch that at first!

Hah! I am still mostly wearing the too baggy pants and shirts - but the problem is that my pants are always slipping when I wear them. I HATE shopping, even if it means I am getting smaller clothes - but needs must.

I was once a size 24 almost 26 - but now I am sometimes a size 18 (though not in jeans!). But I haven't been that big since before I joined here. **edit** I am also 5'7.5"

Haha! That SONG!

I don't really see that at my gym. (yet?) But I DO properly work out with my boyfriend. Sometimes he and I are in completely different parts of the gym - but it's nice to take him along sometimes.

Haha I wouldn't say she/he is mean. I think the wiseass comments are worse than that one. Now the girl will think that her sacroiliac will make her fat if she uses the wrong weights. Because bone often does that and all.
-
Agreed! I think it's the idea that per square inch it would weigh more. But in itself it does not.

I saw it in theatres with my boss at the time and some of my coworkers. O_o My boss loved it, I had more fun watching him laugh than watching the movie.

Okay here is a classic that is also BAD: Barbarella, I didn't even have the patience to finish it. But it was in the Netflix "recently watched" that my boyfriend and I share. Apparently he had watched it recently, so I figured I should give it a go. Hah!

I have a 6 year old devil cat that is probably grumpy at me for shutting him out of my room for the night. His adopted *big* (both literally and figuratively) sister is also a devil cat (8 years old) and belongs to my dad. <3 I remember them very fondly as being teeny tiny kitties.

ROFL I'm DYING over here!
