I am also doing a "no refined sugars" (or added sugars) for the month of April. This will be hard for me to do, because this is my biggest downfall! When I eat something sweet, I only want more, and than can't stop. A few hours later, I almost always don't feel that well, get very fatigued, hungry, and etc.

My goal is to lose 10 pounds by the end of April! no refined sugar (or added sugar) 8 glasses of water a day some form of exercise every day - Curves, jogging, Zumba, shoot baskets, etc. walk every day try my yoga DVD hand weights exercises every day

Yes, I would like to join this group! I lost a lot of weight, reached my goal, kept it off for 3 years, and then have gained 25 pounds since November - really need the motivation AND encouragement!

I found that cutting out refined sugars & refined flour, as well as only eating the healthy fats (olive oil, nuts, avocado, nut butters) helped me. Also don't forget the protein, which you should have at every snack & meal. It is especially needed when working out a lot. Protein snack options that I like are: eggs,…

Goals for this week: 1. Work-out at Curves 5 days this week 2. Drink 8 glasses of water a day 3. Lose 2 pounds (wedding to go to one Saturday.... hope to fit into dress better!) 4. Go on stepper every day (at home) 5. Walk every day (whether outside, or if it is raining, inside at a mall)

Great idea of melons. Sometimes I will have a Braeburn apple cut in very thin slices (like chips), and it's sweetness satisfies me. Or I will sometimes have a sugar-free fudgsicle (40 calories, and it has just a little bit of fat), and it satisfies my chocolate craving and for the sake of "eating something" in the evening!…

I would like to join this group - started watching my eating yesterday...but I am new at this... posting on message boards. Since I joined in August, I have gained 7 pounds instead of losing, so I like the "rules" you have set. I need to lose 18 pounds to get to my goal weight. Any help for motivation would be appreciated!
