I switch between Simple Truth whey protein powder and Body Fortress, both in vanilla. ADD-IN OPTIONS: - sugar-free pudding powder in chocolate, vanilla, or lemon - PB2 - frozen banana, blueberries, strawberries, or mango (any frozen fruit works) - dry oatmeal ... or some combination thereof

I can't believe no one jumped on "if you were going to stupid." Excuse me, I'm going to stupid right now.
-
In all seriousness, I've heard of its use as an appetite suppressant.

I must in total denial here because I do not log coffee. I drink it black and unsweetened. The calories have gotta be negligible... right?
-
You hit the nail on the head. The problem is psychological. So the treatment must be psychological, as well.

In my view, a meal replacement shake will have a greater number of calories and potentially will cover other nutrients, especially micronutrients. A protein shake may not have enough calories to replace a meal, as its ingredients are focused on delivering protein. For example, I make a protein shake that is basically just…

What's with people posting exuberant gifs about how they didn't read something? You proud of that?

THANK YOU. What is actually disgusting is rampant body shaming, fascist ideas about what bodies are supposed to look like, or the notion that everyone should have the same desires about their own size and weight.

I guess it was too much to expect copying and pasting. She logs that burn daily (and the numbers are consistent with a day's worth of breastfeeding) so the minute amount is arbitrary.

Let me google that for you http://www.shape.com/lifestyle/mind-and-body/perks-and-health-benefits-breastfeeding http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/12/fashion/12Skin.html?_r=0

Seconding Fitness Blender on YouTube.

This sounds like a grad school course description in question form.

Crazy, I feel the exact same way. At my desk job, I feel like I'm always hungry. I think part of it is boredom masquerading as hunger, to be honest. My job was so boring that I would look forward to snacks as a way to break up the day's tedium. I found that drinking coffee or tea instead of resorting immediately to food…

Why do you think being a vegan is the right choice for you? Not trying to be a jerk, but wondering if this is going to be a sustainable choice for you.

Thank you -- everyone in this thread -- for posting so candidly. I have been dealing with depression for eleven years now (realizing that is really frustrating) and today is one of those days where even basic goals seem unattainable. Depression is such a huge obstacle when it seems to weigh down your limbs, dull your mind,…

Since I've met my weight loss goal, I have set a new goal of getting stronger and adding muscle. I don't have the cash right now to join a gym and lift heavy, so I am doing 30 Day Shred on YouTube every day for resistance training. I also walk every day for at least a half hour. These aren't huge burns, and I'm only on day…

I peeped your profile and I suspect you are a cool human. Added!
-
I don't understand your question. You enter more food than you actually consume to meet a goal that is already too low, so of course you are losing weight -- you are consistently eating at a larger deficit than what you log. Or am I totally misunderstanding?

Bottom line is that being a girl can be a huge drag. It sucks that the onus is almost always on us to be responsible for this.
-
No judgment here, as I am squarely in your same boat. I think (or at least I am telling myself) that if you are pretty virtuous through the rest of the week, it's not a big deal. But I don't know. All I know is that a huge slice of pizza is damn good at 2 am.

Are you sure that 112 lbs would be a healthy weight for you?
-
I log it as circuit training. Make sure to take pictures now so you can compare them to your results when you're done!

Yep, this was in the New York Times: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/02/21/health/nutrition/dessert-at-breakfast-may-help-dieters.html?_r=0

That's a tremendous achievement. Congratulations! Enjoy your vacation!
-
Yeah, you are probably eating far too little for that amount of exercise.
-
It may be helpful to view maintenance not as the end of a process but as the beginning of one. You're not a dieter; you are now living a new lifestyle. I've been in maintenance for a few months, and it's been pretty lame because I lost motivation to keep running, which had been my mode of exercise for weight loss. But it's…

I don't care if aspartame is bad for you or not, because life is too short. But I do know that drinking Coke Zero makes chips so much more appealing, and I can eat way more chips if accompanied by a Coke. (Chips and water just seems foul to me, you know?)
-
Seconding this. You will be getting water from your food and there's no reason to stress your kidneys by asking them to do so much more work. I know this is not the prevailing opinion here at MFP but google around.

Hey everyone, C25k graduate here. You guys can do this -- don't give up even when it's awful. There will indeed be those moments. But the pride I felt when I finished was unlike anything else, and for that it was all worth it.

I'm also open to friends but of late my diary is painful to behold! Please add and we can keep each other accountable.
