I completely understand your frustrations. I have been losing and gaining the same 2-8 pounds since November. I am trying not to stress out about it as I can see changes in my body, clothes are much bigger, shoes are looser, rings fit again. I have ramped up my workouts for March. I am going for that in like a lion out…

Great job on your weight loss to this point. Consider ditching the idea of taking a pill and try an extreme change in workout. Just change it all up and confuse the heck out of your body with a workout you've never done before. Save your money and your body, avoid the pill myth. Good luck

I've worked the past 2 nights wearing my BodyMedia armband and was asked about it a total of 3 times. I was not wearing long sleeves, just my usual scrub top. Unless I specifically took the time to point it out, it was hardly noticed. I would like to see MFP and BodyMedia share nutritional data bases or cross platform data…

Hey BodyMedia I'd love to see the bar code scanner option added to the mobile app like MFP has. Having to add so many foods is tedious and time consuming. Another adjustment I'd like to see is an option for shift workers in the sleep section, maybe a way to easily adjust the time "I go to sleep at.." for those of us with…

Start with walking, it can be as simple as that. Walking teamed with diligently and honestly tracking your calorie consumption may be all that you need to be successful. If you are wanting something that you can feel every time you do it, look into yoga. I picked up a yoga book done by Shape magazine, it has a yoga and…

Yes this happens to me too. I actually noticed this time because I weigh once a week now. It turns out I put on 5 pounds but I am happy to say that I lost it and almost a pound more to go with it.

Tailbone, who knew. Over a year since I had a rolling chair mishap (chair scooted back when I was going to sit on it) I can not sit a bike for more than ten minutes. Holy crow did that hurt at the time and still it lets me know when I need to change positions when sitting. As to your particular concern, I would bring it to…

I like the Dove Dark chocolate promises, 5 pieces to a serving, this can be consumed all at once or portion it out. I have dark and milk hot chocolate in the house. Last but not least, I bake only with premium dark chocolate. Doing this ensures that a small piece of cake or a small triple chocolate cookie hits the spot and…

I like using the rowing machine myself. I put on some tunes and zone right out. Pull with the arms push with the legs and I imagine I'm on the water somewhere. I've never actually rowed on water but I want to learn paddle boarding.

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, The Twilight Zone, Get Smart......Danger Will Robinson!!!! As you wish, I am sending a request now.

Advice from a person that is obviously not just obese but morbidly obese just cracks me up. I commented at work on night that I was having a hard time consuming quality calories on my night shifts. Here comes advice from a woman who need to consider taking her own advice. She suggested a protein drink from a particular…

Yes I get nervous. I weigh in tomorrow and I don't know if I'll show any progress. I want to see changes but I just don't know if it will be there. Wish me luck.

Stay active, drink water, make healthy food choices.

Break into the Army Reserve Armory down the hill, load up on everything I could pack onto the top of a water tanker truck. Head to the 5 tunnels by Lake Mead, learn to like fish or die.

Oh I like that...."If you bite it, you should write it."

Meal timing is always dicey for me. I am a shift worker and when I work just getting time to eat anything becomes a trial. I have started to bring Kind bars and protein drinks that I can just pound and keep working. I allow for one "bad" day a week. Today it was comfort food. Greasy cheese enchilada from a local place that…

When your back goes out you cry not because of the pain but because you know it will be a few weeks before you can use a rowing machine again. Oh and you punch your husband in the arm because he can go to the gym.

I have been listening to Pandora while working out. I don't have to buy anything, the music changes all the time, and fewer commercials than radio. If you're just looking to add to your play list, check out the various music platforms for workout playlists. You may find something that works for you. Oh and most of the…

You should be very proud of yourself. I have a dress that I'll use for my before and after shot.

Concept 2 rowing machine, it lets me work just about everything, the intensity (drag) can be increased or decreased depending on what I want. I have only been doing it for 3 weeks but I can see the changes in my waist line.

I understand. Two years ago at a certain not to be named tax preparation service, the much older gentleman doing our taxes made some very big mistakes based on assumptions. He added the alimony that we pay out, into our income and then left out a disabled vet credit. After going home and doing the taxes again with one of…

Well, for me keeping track of my calorie consumption is part of my pleasure. It has become rather addictive for me. I enjoy eating, and figuring out what to eat and what is the actual serving size.

How about some basic cooking instructions? I bought a package that had no cooking instructions.

9/5/12 40 minutes total. Morning walk of 25 minutes, evening walk of 15.

Congratulations on your success to this point. Sure it is not exactly what you were hoping for but let's face it, working nights screws our metabolism to hell and back. I am a fellow night shifter and I feel your frustrations. I am now 3 weeks into going to the gym and have yet to lose a full pound even operating in a…

You are on tough Momma! Congratulations on your success.

Well it's morning here in LV, Nevada, but the sun is not up. I'm a shift worker so this is my regular time to be awake. Glad you've got some lovely weather, I hope it stays around for a bit. I had some lovely clouds and rain today (desert dweller) . Have a wonderful day.

Late but in..... 9/1 15 min 9/2 rest day no gym but worked 12 hrs with lots of walking. 9/3 20 min 9/4 20 min. I use the walking as a warm up for other exercise.

Stupid Chico's commercial, Why do you show a skinny woman in the slimming pants? This makes no sense to me and only makes me feel even more out of shape. Their shape that is. Just one more store I won't shop in.
