Drinking more water will help to flush it out. Way to work hard!

Oh. God. That's sounds terrible. And I wax!
-
In this photo I am "obese". And 14 km in to a 76 km race. (I'm the one closer to the camera)

Sweet Jesus, did you ladies say you epilator your crotch?! Wtf!
-
Ah yes, oranges and post race bevvies are a must!!
-
I do long distance bike and canoe racing. Two bite brownies, powerbar gel packs and peanut butter and jam sandwiches are my fuel of choice. Also Gatorade (which I would never drink in real life), is a must!

I figured out photo posting, so thought I would share here. Work in progress, halfway ish.

I am 5'9" and while 25 lbs isn't nearly as dramatic as some of these other losses, I think you can really see it in my face. The top left photo was the "omg I have to lose weight" photo.

I do a mountain bike / canoe race every year that takes between 5-6 hrs. estimate the calorie burn somewhere around 3,500. I regularly do 5-6 hr bike rides on the weekend, my HRM gives me about 3,000 for that. I just laugh.

I've mad many, had my first when I was 14 (I know right). It's not that bad. Don't plan to leave your house the day/night before. Clear Gatorade was my best friend. I find the sedation really knocks me out for 2 days.... Enjoy!

I'm going to guess id average around 3,000. The thing is, most people who know me would say I was quite healthy. I worked out 6 days a week, sometimes twice a day, and still gained 30 lbs in 2 yrs. I ate lots of vegetables. I just had a few bad habits that have made all the difference. Favourite bad things that I now avoid…

Yeah nice work.

Meeee too! First person to post a streaming link gets smooches and hugs forever!

I think I have been bulking for 10 yrs. I'm quite strong with an obese BMI but great lifts as i was working out and lifting the whole time I gained weight. I guess the cut is going on now as muscles are appearing even more than i had expected Stay tuned for the pics.

Edit to add: I don't think either of the first two commenters are following IN PLACE OF A ROAD MAP. Check out this link to find out more information: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/912920-in-place-of-a-road-map-3-2013 ***** Um no. If you are doing IPOARM your calorie burn is already built in and you do NOT eat…

Can I ask how tall you are?
-
I am a NIKE girl, but that's because their shoes fit my wide feet very well. I suggest you go try on different brands and see what fits your foot. What works for one person may not work for another.
-
Do you have implants?
-
I find if I do not eat enough by 10am I am hungry all day. Can you concentrate more calorie intake in the morning? I intake 80% of my daily calories before 1pm. Works well for me.
-
Too weak to work out? Sorry, I don't know what that means. ;)
-
You win for the most helpful response, thank you! So basically, I'll never know on my own? K cool thx.
-
Awesome! Your post was super helpful. Thank you! Once I start doing longer bike rides and races in a month or two i think I'll be able to judge an improvement in fitness over last year. I am on MFP solely for the purpose of improving performance, which I have noticed over time. Always have to improve, ya know? :)
-
This is very true, as a portion of the class is obviously dedicated to "warm up" and "cool down". I will do a double tomorrow and report back what happens. :)
-
Yes, thanks. It is a good burn and I am aware that it may be wholly inaccurate, I just feel like it is a metric I can I look to as I have always used it as a measuring tool for performance. :)
-
Me too, It is just my nature to look at something tangible for improvement and the number on my watch seems the easiest place to start.
-
I get what you're all saying about running, which is cool. But what would an ideal calorie burn per minute be? (not per mile)
-
Take off eh.
-
I don't lose when drinking, which makes me very sad. :( one night of drinking will pretty much guarantee a stall for that week. Just how my body works.
