I did the 50,000 1x weekly, but then switched to 5,000 daily per doctor's orders. My next bloodwork came back fine. I was told to stay on that dose. But that's just me ... listen to your doctor.

You had a bad day ... everyone does. You can't give up the fight ... I have had bad days, but I began again the next meal and got it right back on track. The tragedy here would be to let it define you and your future. A thousand or two or three can be overcome in a couple of days ... look at the BIG picture. Good luck and…

#1 Yes; #2 That's absolutely right ... don't go to bed on a full stomach. Eat most of your food for breakfast, lunch and snacks with a light dinner; #3 Definitely works that way for my body - calories from sweets mess with my insulin levels and stop my body from burning calories ; #4 Don't know about this one.

THIS! Don't wait until 'tomorrow' ... begin with the next meal or the next 'snack'! You can do a lot of damage before 'tomorrow', or the next 'tomorrow'.

I know the feeling!! It feels great to be able to cross your legs at the knee.

I count my decaf coffee (with Splenda) as water, as well as my lemon water (squeeze a lemon and add to 32oz water bottle) and Crystal Light ... otherwise I wouldn't be getting water because I don't like the taste of plain water. Different people have different opinions ... even the professionals :drinker:

Great article ... thanks for sharing!

Yep, this! Totally agree.

Makes sense to me. I think what was so irritating ... and what turned so many off ... was the know-it-all tone of the post. What was funny was that she began by saying that she hadn't been around long and didn't know a lot, but then said 'you won't lose more weight if you undereat', then focused on 1200 calories and…

Hahaha ... No. And I did say 'respectfully'. You have been back for four weeks and have lost six pounds? Nice. Hope your success continues at that rate. Good luck in your journey!

I like this ... MINDFUL eating. I have found something I love, sat down to eat it and it's gone before I even realize I am eating it and I didn't even get to enjoy it ... what a disappointment! I eat more slowly now than previously, but I am still working on it.

I respectfully disagree with you. You say that you have 182 pounds to lose and you have lost 12 ... obviously you can eat more calories and still lose weight than someone with 20 or 30 pounds to lose. I have been where you are now and losing weight was much easier then ... it gets harder the less weight you have to lose…

Hey I love my Splenda also! I need to have my coffee very sweet and I know I save many calories every day, not to mention the carbs, by using Splenda! No sugar ... not good for my insulin levels to shoot up then crash over a cup of coffee.

Yep, you sound like you are addicted, but it's an addiction that you can break ... you just have got to want it. Accept that there are hidden sugars everywhere ... so NO sugar isn't really a true option. Going low carb is. I was heavily addicted to sugar and eating low carb broke the addiction. That's not to say that…
