  • good for you! my goal is size 10 also. bravo, I've been swimming once a week, it's my fave exercise. have a great day :)
  • I think I'd try alouette light for the soft cheese, chili pepper flakes and 1 tbls fat free greek yogurt along w/a dash of fat free half and half to replace the creme fraiche...that's what I'm gonna do :)
  • Go Kristi!! Great loss for the week. I have a big weekend, my daughter's bday...cake, pizza, you name it, it'll be within reach. Yikes! wish me luck and keep up the hard work.
  • One thing on WW that I like is it does force you to be aware to eat "x" amount of veggies/fruit and dairy.
  • I'm with you, the only thing I'm tweaking is as my weight goes down in the Points increments, I'm lowering my calorie goal to match. Are you keeping any of the WW tricks?
  • Ok, here's another one: Hummous it's usually high in fat b/c of the tahini. I use silken tofu instead and one drop of sesame oil! For a double batch (fills a quart bag) 2 cans garbanzo (or navy for a tuscan twist) 2 cloves of garlic (or more if you're adventurous) 1 tbls lemon juice (add some zest if you like it a little…
  • Hey Girls, I forgot to check in last week, but I'm staying committed! My loss was only 1/4 lb. this week, but that's ok, it's a loss, not a gain right? I hope all is well with everyone. I'm trying to recruit newbies to this challenge as I think it's a totally doable one. Don't forget to post any cool recipes on the recipe…

  • Bravo! My condolences to you and your family. What a positive way to honor her.
  • I didn't WI yesterday but Thursday's WI was down 1.5 lbs. I had a bad weekend, my daughter had a sleepover and there were snacks a plenty so we'll see what this Thursday brings. I figure I can make up for it over the next coupla days. Good job everyone!
  • Hey all! Hope you had a good weekend. It was nice here but I was a lil under the weather on Saturday. Today's not my normal weigh in, but I'm going to post it on these boards every Monday for you guys, but it won't show on my profile til Thursday. I did hop on the scale today though and I'm very happy with the results:…
  • I might try that, what kind of hot sauce? I have tabasco and franks...sounds interesting. I do a 20 oz. glass of cold water every morning to start out...I'll switch to hot and see what happens.
  • Tracy from Michigan, my profile says it all! I want to be healthy and live well. At my heaviest I was 277, lightest 207 and my ultimate goal is 185 and to STAY there. I would like to be down a total of 20 lbs by my 42nd birthday on 10/21....then I'll celebrate with a new pair of shoes.
  • I like breaking this up into smaller (big) goals. I did the calculation and if I keep up my current routine, I'd hope to be just shy of 40 lbs off by V-day. I'm working the old WW plan right now in combo w/MFP. I'm having a hard time getting all my points right now (not sure why, but I think the daily wine being cut out…
  • Check out livestrong.com, they have an actual measurement system of the wrist vs. height etc. I'm 6'0 tall w/a 7.5in wrist, so yes, I have a "large" frame. Step 1 Determine your wrist circumference using a flexible strip of measuring tape. Wrap the strip snugly but not tightly around the uppermost portion of your wrist,…
