I want your face to be the last thing I see every night and the first thing I see every morning. I love you. Will you marry me? -- This of course is not how I actually did propose (yes I proposed). The REAL proposal went more like: "I was thinking September 2nd 2000 would be a good day to get married because it'll be the 2…

I'd make her a chart kind of like the old WW's booklets where you have boxes for the required number of fruits in a day, the required number of veggies in a day, dairy/protein/carbs/fats and make it age appropriate for her requirements. Then she can fill in the boxes throughout the day and get a general idea of what she…

When my youngest was 6 she got extremely picky and I finally decided that I'd had enough. I made healthy food, put small portions on her plate and gave her the option of eating or not. For about two weeks she cried at almost every meal. Now, months later, she will eat what she is given even if it's not her favourite. I do…

1. I know how to belly dance 2. I wrote a romance novel but I'm too lazy to edit it 3. I spend more time volunteering at the kids' school than cleaning 4. I don't like fish or seafood but I will eat tuna. 5. I'll take hot sauce and salty food over chocolate and sweets any day.

I think there are a few factors that come into play. For one, how far away is he? If it's possible and affordable to spend the weekends together 1-2X a month (as in you live 3-5 hours away) then you have a good chance. If you're more like 12-20 hours away from each other.. not so much. If you're in the same country things…

That's wonderful! Congratulations!

I will be dressing up only as a chaperone for the kids' dance at school (primary) so I don't want to buy a costume. I'll dress all in black and put a question mark in masking tape on my shirt and go as a punctuation mark. Lame I know, but cheap and it won't ruin any of my clothes.

3 is 3times better than none! Do what works for you and then keep adding as your fitness level improves. Be sure to include some muscle building in there!

butter or olive oil. Just a bit goes a long long way and healthy fats are good for you.

Congratulations! I dream of being normal one day.

Off all but my thyroid medication, helping my eldest through the worst of the teen years, more in love with my husband than ever (though it's difficult to imagine my loving him more than I do now), going on trips with my BFF and taking the train home to visit my sisters every few month. Enjoying my youngest's independence.

my recommendation is to do like the above poster suggested and get yourself interested in a winter sport/activity. That way snow won't always seem to be the enemy. Good luck.

happy patient lovely outgoing (ok maybe not patient)

I'm in Canada so I don't know if you have Laura where you are but Laura Plus has a body shaper that goes from under the boobs to the knees. I personally don't wear it to work out -- I wear control panties from Addition Elle if I'm going to be hopping around. Congrats on the weight loss!

You are improving your cardiovascular health and decreasing your risk for heart disease. You are increasing your stamina and energy levels and improving your quality of life. You are building your muscles and better supporting your skeleton to help fight osteoporosis. You are feeding your body all the minerals, vitamins…

If you really find 1200 calories to be not enough try changing your weekly goal to 1.5lbs per week of 1lb per week. You won't lose weight as quickly, but you'll be less tempted to give up. Better slower success than no success right?

happened to me two weeks ago. 4lbs in 4 days for no apparent reason. It's really frustrating.

pink flannel winnie the pooh jamma bottoms and a blue tank top. No, I don't match.

Kwame. I'm much more fond of plant life than animal life. Fish freak me out completely.

you look fantastic!!! and you're quite beautiful. You should look into modeling.

use the tag that starts with [ IMG ] and then change the caps to lower case img. Should fix your problem. And congrats!

Family dinners are extremely important to me and are one of the deciding reasons why I didn't go the gastric bypass route. I cook for everyone and everyone in the house has started eating healthier. It wasn't easy at first, but after a few weeks of tears and grumbling (from the kids), we've all settled and adjusted. I give…

Well since for me it's about health first and weight second (though admittedly, weight is a nice bonus), I see rather nutritional benefit instead of calories. I look at almonds and avocados and olive oil and see healthy fats that will aid with preventing heart disease instead of calorie dense food (though they are so I eat…

I have the fall back of saying "oh I'm sorry, I'm diabetic" so people let it go pretty easily thank goodness. I suppose you could try "I'm really sorry but I would worry so much about screwing up my plan for today that I wouldn't even enjoy it -- your beautiful dessert deserves better." Course failing that there's just a…

I know it's not the usual, but a hard boiled egg actually fills me up really well for a good couple of hours. If you can put up with the smell.

I was hiking with my boyfriend on pretty well travelled trails when we came upon a family that was all dressed up heading to the lookout to take portraits. He grabbed my hand, pulled me close and said "oh look at that little girl in the red shoes! How cute is she?" and that's when I knew I would marry him. I was still a…

I do agree with you for the most part that it's a good analogy but man I wish my body treated binges the way I treat my husband's bonus cheques!

I really liked this.
