WOW WOW WOW - that's is all I could say looking at all your pictures (once I got my chin back off the floor!). Ladies you are all a huge inspiration to me - I have lost all my waist and now look like I have swallowed a huge wobbly tyre around my belly. I know lots of ladies say it's the last bit to go - but it's definitely…

Congratulations on your first 20lbs - keep up the good work and you will be at your goal weight in no time.

Fab - I can really see your stomach looks a lot firmer and defined than before - well done

If you are really getting that hungry then maybe 1200 cals per day just isn't the right plan for you? Lots of people on here eat a lot more and still lose weight. I can see you are only 3 days in - maybe have a look in the forums and look for in place of a roadmap - it shows a different way of looking at losing weight -…

Hey there - there is a group on this site called Eat more to weigh less - EM2WL - everyone on there is usually following the TDEE "method" - or "roadmap" as a lot of people know it as on here. There should be lots of people on there that can give you advice. Not sure if this helps.

What a great way to go about your weight loss! Good idea to help keep the goals small. good luck with losing that 9 year old!

Hi there I have lost 12lb and have about another 6 or so to go. I bought a Polar FT4 and it arrived yesterday. Used it for the first time and was hooked. It showed I didn't burn as many calories doing my cardio as MFP said (about 40 cals out) so if I was to be eating back exercise cals then I would have over eaten. As the…

Hey good for you. Just remember - this isn't a "diet" this is a lifestyle change - so it's something you will need to stick to forever! And you can't not eat forever. It may take longer to shift the weight but it will then stay off - rather than keep coming back and biting you. Good luck with your weight loss journey.

Are there any fruits you really love you could eat instead? I know it sounds funny but if you had a bowl of blueberries in a bowl or grapes, they are sweet and juicy and maybe give you the sweet kick you crave? If not every time you are tempted to go for one just remember why you are on your weight loss journey and tell…

Sorry have to agree with the above poster - you aren't eating enough. If you weren't breast feeding then on days you work out you should be eating back your exercise calories but considering you are breast feeding then I think I read that you should be eating 500 cals more to account for that. I think you should get advice…

That's a great transformation already! Congratulations on getting your diabetes under control - that really is fantastic. Can only get better from here on in. Good luck with the rest of your weight loss journey.

That's fantastic - well done. You can really really see a huge change in your face. You know what they say - "slowly but surely wins the race" (well they do in the UK anyway!) Good luck with reaching your goal.
-
Nothing like a bit of wiggle room! Good for you - keep it up.
-
That's fantastic - and what a motivation for yourself to carry on going too. You can so do this - and you will have your success pics on here before you know it! Good luck with the rest of your weight loss.

lol - you probably made his day! Yeah - I would get a belt too! I did similar at the school running to the gate because I was late and having to hold my jeans up - luckily I had a long top on so nobody could see my big butt hanging out!
-
Congrats on your weight loss so far. I have lost 12 lbs and gone down a dress size and lost 6 inches off my waist - and nobody has noticed (apart from my husband and close family) - it's annoying because I want people to see that I have been losing weight and give me the boost to say "you are looking really good" - but…

Congrats on your weight loss you look amazing - bet your wife is very proud. Thanks for asking that question too - I am always wondering what my "goal" weight should be - suppose I will stop when I feel happy with the way I look.
-
You look fantastic - congrats. Thanks for sharing - very inspirational too.

Hey look at it this way - it's coming off - the scales are moving the right way! I think 1 lb a week is great - I have been averaging 0.5 at most. Keep up the good work. You should be proud of your achievement so far.
-
You look amazing - thanks for inspiring me today. We are the same height and I too am getting fed up with how long it seems to get this weight off. I know it didn't go on overnight but I have days where I wanna give up. Reading your story and seeing your pics gives me the motivation to carry on. Thanks for sharing.

Great NSV! Now when you kick your butt with a workout you can relieve your achy muscles with a nice warm soak! Well done.
-
Fantastic - good for you. Keep it up and soon you will be hitting further milestones. Well done.
-
Well done you - that's great. Just proves that when we are at our lowest patience with our weight loss journey - we can still achieve great results that give us that extra motivation to keep going.
-
ha ha - will have to look that recipe up (sounds lovely) - and to get your son to eat something he doesn't like (which I can totally relate to) is great too!
