What country are you from if you don't mind me asking? (sorry if you've already answered this). I'm 5'9 and currently 176 and a UK size 14-16. My goal weight is your current weight - 154 pounds. I used to weigh 140 about 5 years ago and for me, it was too thin and unhealthy. But I will just go where my body takes me, as…

"It doesn't matter how slow you go, so long as you do not stop." Some days/weeks are harder than others and you might feel like you're not progressing...but if you quit...you've made that a certainty.

Your boyfriend sounds like a right keeper there babes.... You honesty look AMAZING. i'm exactly the same, unless I feel crazy hungry in the evenings I usually have a little snack like a banana before i work out, then a protein shake or peanut butter after, but my dinner is bigger knowing i wil lwork out later on. i work in a nursery and usually burn between 600-800 calories from that alone, now if i ate…

Ahh okay thanks for your advice. I'm currently working in a nursery and doing the 30 day shred 5 days a week. I think I'm in the typical newbie mindset of "you must stop eating to lose weight" and trying to get my head around the fact there is more to it, so I can make an informed and healthy decision! Also taking…

Cannot reccomend the 30DS enough... started in nov/dec but then Christmas got in the way (my bad.) Started again and just 7 days into it, along with drinking loads more water and eating right (and quitting smoking not sure if that helps weight loss?), I've lost an inch from my hips waist and neck and down nearly 4lbs! I…

I have a few - It doesn't matter how slow you go, so long as you do not stop. If hunger isn't the problem, food isn't the answer And eating 1200 calories when your BMR is way over is silly. Know your BMR and TDEE and eat between the two.

Thanks very much for posting these, took a while to read through but really useful and informative!

glad I can help! I would love to advise you on weights but being a newbie myself I would hate to give you the wrong advice. I know alot of people reccomend squats, deadlifts and bench press from what I have read. at the moment i'm doing Jillian micheals 30day shred (on youtube) just to get myself back into the swing of…

I'm not sure if it's classed as a confidence book, but it worked for me. Who moved me cheese? Really helps you to reassess who you are and what you want. Yes its about cheese. Mmm tasty metaphorical Cheese.

I dont think there is one miracle cure of diet for all.. to be perfectly honest a lot of diets are very very similar. They all want you to reduce your calorie intake, and most want you to reduce your carbs, drink more water, and exercise more. NONE of them would work without motivation and determination. You can't expect…

It's really motivating reading these, now matter how big or small the accomplishment. I started the day with an hours walk. Then tonight I thought "Is this really how I want to start the new year?" and just did day1 of the 30 day shred and 8 minute abs afterwards. Much better!
